Initial Setup: WUBEN L3 Flashlight
Battery Installation
Before first use, remove the battery insulation sheet from the L3 flashlight.
Unscrew the tail cap and remove the blue insulation sheet covering the battery. Re-screw the tail cap firmly to ensure a waterproof seal.
Charging the L3 Flashlight
The WUBEN L3 features a dual-way USB-C charging port. Twist the front ring to expose the USB-C port.
Twist the head of the flashlight to reveal the USB-C charging port. Connect the provided USB-C cable to charge the internal 4800mAh battery.
- Charging Indicator: A red light indicates charging, and a blue light indicates a full charge.
- Charging Times (approximate):
- 5V/2A: ~160 minutes
- 9V/2A: ~100 minutes
- 12V/1.5A: ~110 minutes
The flashlight's indicator light shows red during charging and turns blue when fully charged. The 4800mAh battery supports fast charging.
Operating the WUBEN L3 Flashlight
Power On/Off and Mode Selection
The L3 flashlight features a single tail switch for all operations.
The tail switch controls power and mode selection. A full press turns the light on or off. Half-presses cycle through brightness modes.
- Momentary On: Half-press and hold the tail switch for 0.5 seconds for momentary illumination. Release to turn off.
- Constant On/Off: Full press the tail switch to turn the flashlight on or off.
- Brightness Modes: With the light on, half-press the tail switch to cycle through Moon (5 lumens), Low (150 lumens), Medium (500 lumens), and High (1500 lumens). The flashlight remembers the last used brightness mode.
- Turbo Mode (3000 lumens): From any mode, half-press and hold the tail switch for 0.5 seconds to activate Turbo mode. Release to return to the previous mode. Turbo mode will automatically step down to 1100 lumens after 4 minutes to prevent overheating.
- Strobe Mode: Double-click the tail switch quickly to activate Strobe mode. Half-press to return to the previous mode.
- SOS Mode: Triple-click the tail switch quickly to activate SOS mode. Half-press to return to the previous mode.
The WUBEN L3 provides an ultra-bright output of 3000 lumens, reaching up to 226 meters, suitable for various lighting needs.
Operating the WUBEN PL01 Pen Light
Power On/Off and Mode Selection
The PL01 pen light also features a single tail switch.
The PL01 pen light is compact and easy to control with its tail switch.
- Power On/Off: Full press the tail switch to turn the light on or off.
- Brightness Modes: With the light on, half-press the tail switch to cycle through High (650 lumens), Medium (150 lumens), Low (50 lumens), and Moon (1 lumen).
- Dual Power Supply: The PL01 can use its built-in USB-C rechargeable battery (fully charges in just 1.5 hours) or use 2x AAA batteries (not included) for backup power.
The PL01 offers flexible power options, running on its internal rechargeable battery or two AAA batteries for extended use.
Power Bank Functionality (L3 Flashlight)
The WUBEN L3 can also function as a power bank to charge other devices.
Connect your device to the L3's USB-C port to use it as a power bank. It provides up to 18W output for emergency charging.
- Output: Up to 18W (5V/2A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A).
- Discharging Indicators:
- Blue light on: Normal discharging.
- Red light flashes: Low battery.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the flashlight body with a soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
- O-rings: Periodically inspect and lubricate the O-rings to maintain water resistance. Replace worn O-rings with the provided spares.
- Battery Care: Store the flashlight with a partially charged battery if not used for extended periods. Avoid over-discharging or over-charging.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
