Maintenance
Battery Replacement
The remote control is powered by a single CR2032 (3V) lithium battery. When the remote's range decreases or it stops responding, it may be time to replace the battery.
- Carefully open the remote control casing. Refer to the physical instruction manual for specific opening procedures if needed.
- Remove the old CR2032 battery.
- Insert a new CR2032 (3V) lithium battery, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the remote control casing securely.
Care and Storage
The remote control has an IP20 protection rating, meaning it is protected against solid objects larger than 12.5mm but has no special protection against water. It is recommended for indoor use or sheltered outdoor environments. Avoid exposing the remote to direct moisture, extreme temperatures, or strong impacts.
Troubleshooting
- Remote not responding:
- Check if the battery needs replacement.
- Ensure the remote is properly programmed to the receiver. Re-attempt programming if necessary.
- Verify that the receiver is powered on and functioning correctly.
- Limited range:
- Replace the battery.
- Ensure there are no significant obstructions (e.g., thick walls, metal structures) between the remote and the receiver.
- Avoid sources of strong radio interference.
- Incompatibility issues:
- This remote control is specifically designed for TELECO MIO/TVMIO systems operating at 868.3 MHz. It is not compatible with TELECO 433 MHz versions or systems from other brands (e.g., Nice, Somfy, BFT, FAAC).
- Always verify the frequency (868 MHz) and the exact model reference of your original remote control or receiver before purchase.
- Programming issues in collective residences:
- If you are in a collective residence, programming new remotes might be centrally controlled. Contact your building manager or syndicate administrator for assistance.
