Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your PULWTOP Dock, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the dock. Avoid liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Heat Dissipation: The vertical design aids in heat dissipation. Ensure the dock is placed in a well-ventilated area and that the Mac mini's vents are not obstructed.
- Cable Management: Keep cables organized to prevent strain on ports and ensure stable connections.
- Environmental Conditions: Operate the dock within typical room temperatures and avoid extreme humidity.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your PULWTOP Dock, refer to the following common solutions:
- No Display Output via HDMI:
- Ensure the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the dock and the monitor.
- Verify that your monitor is set to the correct input source.
- Check macOS Display Settings to ensure the external display is detected and configured.
- SSD Not Detected:
- Confirm the SSD is an M.2 NVMe (B+M Key or M Key) and not a SATA SSD.
- Ensure the SSD is correctly installed and secured within the enclosure.
- For new SSDs, ensure it has been formatted to "exFat" or "APFS" using Disk Utility.
- USB Devices Not Functioning:
- Reconnect the USB device and the dock's main USB-C cable to the Mac mini.
- Note that USB-A ports do not support CD readers or Apple SuperDrive.
- Remember that USB-C and USB-A ports on the dock are for data only and do not support video or charging.
- Audio Output Issues:
- If using both the dock's audio jack and the Mac mini's audio, only one will be active. Adjust the sound output in macOS "Audio MIDI Setup."
- Ensure headphones/speakers are properly connected to the 3.5mm jack.
- Slow Data Transfer Speeds:
- Ensure you are using the 10Gbps USB-C or USB-A ports for high-speed devices.
- Performance can be affected by the connected device's capabilities and cable quality.
