Voswitch R400 Grab Handle AUX Switch Panel User Manual

Model: R400 | For Ram 2500 & 3500 (2019-On)

1. Introduction

The Voswitch R400 Grab Handle AUX Switch Panel is an OE-style 4-circuit auxiliary control system designed for 2019 and newer Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. This system allows for the seamless integration and control of up to four 12V accessories, such as LED lights, compressors, or fans, directly from your vehicle's interior. It replaces the driver-side grab handle, providing a factory-fit appearance without requiring modifications to your truck's interior.

Key features include:

  • OE-Style Grab Handle Integration: Designed for a custom fit in the factory grab handle location, maintaining an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) appearance.
  • 4 Independent AUX Circuits: Controls up to four 12V accessories, with each circuit supporting up to 30A and a total system capacity of 100A.
  • Multi-Color Backlit Switches: Customizable backlight colors (Red, Blue, Green, or White) and adjustable brightness to match dashboard lighting.
  • Low Voltage Cutoff (LVCO) Protection: Automatically disconnects accessories if the battery voltage drops below a safe threshold, preventing battery drain.
  • Plug-and-Play Installation: Includes pre-terminated wiring and all necessary components for a straightforward installation process.

This feature helps ensure your vehicle can still start.

5. Maintenance

The Voswitch R400 is designed for durability and minimal maintenance. Regular checks can help ensure its longevity and reliable performance.

  • Inspect Wiring: Periodically check all wiring connections, especially those under the hood, for signs of wear, corrosion, or looseness. Ensure all connections are secure.
  • Clean Components: Keep the switch panel and power module clean from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals.
  • Check Fuses: The system includes a 100A in-line fuse. If the system loses power, check this fuse first. Replace with a fuse of the same rating if necessary.
  • Waterproof Connectors: Ensure all waterproof connectors are properly seated and free from damage to maintain their protective seal.
