Filter and Dustbin Cleaning
While the AutoEmpty Dock minimizes manual emptying, it is recommended to periodically check the robot's internal dustbin and filter. Tap out loose debris from the filter and rinse the dustbin with water as needed. Allow all components to air dry completely before reassembling.
Troubleshooting
- Robot not charging: Ensure the AutoEmpty Dock is plugged in and the robot is properly aligned with the charging contacts. Clean the charging contacts on both the robot and the dock.
- Poor cleaning performance: Check the dual rubber brushes for debris or tangles. Clean or replace the filter if it is clogged. Ensure the dustbin is not full.
- Navigation issues: Clean the sensors on the robot. Ensure there are no new obstacles or changes in the environment that might confuse the robot. If issues persist, try re-mapping your home via the iRobot Home App.
- Robot stuck or making unusual noises: Check for any foreign objects caught in the wheels or brushes. Power cycle the robot by holding down the Clean button for 10 seconds.
