Care and Maintenance

  • Hand Wash Only: The grinder should be hand washed. Do not immerse the grinding mechanism in water.
  • Cleaning the Ceramic Burrs: To clean the ceramic grinding mechanism, it is recommended to grind a small amount of uncooked rice. This helps to dislodge any residual coffee oils and particles.
  • Drying: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing.

Troubleshooting

  • Grinder is difficult to turn: Check if the grind setting is too fine for the beans being used, or if there is a blockage. Adjust to a coarser setting or clear any obstructions.
  • Inconsistent grind: Ensure the adjustment dial is securely set and has not shifted during grinding. Verify that the ceramic burrs are clean and free from residue.
