Safety Information

• Keep batteries away from children and pets.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

• Place trees on a stable, level surface or secure firmly with stakes to prevent tipping.

Setup Instructions

1. Unpack and Fluff: Carefully remove the trees from their packaging. The branches will be compressed for shipping. Gently spread and shape the branches to achieve a full and natural appearance. This process is called 'fluffing'.
2. Insert Metal Stakes: Locate the thickened pipe at the base of each tree. Insert the three-prong metal stake into this pipe. Ensure the stake is fully seated for stability.
3. Install Batteries: Open the battery box located near the base of the tree. Insert 3 AA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings (+/-). Close the battery box securely.
4. Placement: Position the trees in your desired outdoor or indoor location. If placing in soft ground (e.g., yard, garden), push the metal stakes firmly into the ground for added stability. If placing in a container, ensure the container is heavy enough to support the tree and prevent tipping.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Locate the button on the battery box. Press once to turn the lights on. Press again to cycle through the 8 lighting modes. Press and hold for a few seconds to turn the lights off.
2. Select Light Mode: Each press of the button will cycle to the next lighting mode: Combination, In Wave, Sequential, Slo Glo, Chasing/Flash, Slow Fade, Twinkle/Flash, and Steady On.
3. Timer Function: The lights are equipped with an automatic timer. Once you turn the lights on, they will remain on for 6 hours and then automatically turn off for 18 hours. This cycle will repeat daily until the batteries are depleted or the lights are manually turned off.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: To clean the trees, gently dust with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as this may damage the flocking or decorative elements.
• Battery Replacement: When the lights begin to dim or stop working, replace all 3 AA batteries in the battery box with new ones. Ensure correct polarity.
• Storage: After use, gently compress the branches and store the trees in their original packaging or a suitable storage container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Remove batteries before storing for extended periods.

Troubleshooting

• Lights Not Working:
  • Check if batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
  • Replace old or depleted batteries with new ones.
  • Ensure the battery box is properly closed and the power button is pressed.
• Tree is Unstable/Tipping:
  • Ensure the metal stake is fully inserted into the tree's base.
  • If placed in soft ground, push the stake deeper or consider adding additional support.
  • If placed in a container, ensure the container is heavy and stable enough. Add weights to the container if necessary.
