Introduction

The Statik HyperMount® is a versatile magnetic phone mount designed for secure attachment to various surfaces. Featuring an ultra-strong vacuum seal and MagSafe compatibility, it provides a stable platform for your smartphone in your car, home, or office. This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Product Overview

The HyperMount features a compact design with a foldable arm and a powerful suction base. The magnetic head securely holds your phone, while the adjustable arm allows for various viewing angles.

Setup Instructions

1. Preparing the Surface

Ensure the chosen surface is clean and dry. Use the provided cleaning wipes to remove any dust or debris. For optimal suction, smooth, non-textured surfaces like glass, mirrors, polished stone, or metal are recommended.

2. Attaching to Smooth Surfaces

1. Ensure the suction lever on the HyperMount base is in the 'UNLOCK' position.
2. Press the suction cup firmly against the clean, smooth surface.
3. Rotate the lever to the 'LOCK' position until you hear a click. This creates the vacuum seal.

3. Attaching to Textured Surfaces

For textured or uneven surfaces (e.g., wood, concrete, plaster), use the included adhesive mat:

1. Clean the textured surface thoroughly.
2. Peel off the protective film from one side of the adhesive mat and firmly press it onto the desired textured surface.
3. Allow the adhesive mat to set for a few minutes.
4. Attach the HyperMount's suction cup to the smooth surface of the adhesive mat, following the steps for smooth surfaces (Step 2).

4. Preparing Your Phone for Magnetic Attachment

The HyperMount is compatible with Apple MagSafe devices. For Android phones or other devices without MagSafe, use the included magnetic rings:

1. Clean the back of your phone case.
2. Peel off the protective film from one of the magnetic rings.
3. Carefully center and press the magnetic ring onto the outside of your phone case. Ensure it is firmly attached.

Operating Instructions

1. Attaching Your Phone

Once the HyperMount is securely installed, simply bring your MagSafe-compatible phone (or phone with an attached magnetic ring) close to the magnetic head. The magnets will automatically align and secure your phone.

2. Adjusting Viewing Angles

The HyperMount features a 360-degree rotating magnetic head and a 210-degree dual-axis folding metal arm. This allows for extensive adjustability:

• Rotate: Swivel your phone horizontally or vertically (portrait or landscape mode) by rotating the magnetic head.
• Tilt: Adjust the tilt angle of your phone using the folding arm to find your preferred viewing position.
• Fold: The arm can be folded down to reduce the mount's profile when not in use.

3. Detaching Your Phone

To remove your phone, simply pull it away from the magnetic head. The strong magnets ensure a secure hold but allow for easy detachment when needed.

4. Removing the Mount

To remove the entire mount from a surface, rotate the suction lever to the 'UNLOCK' position and gently lift the mount. If an adhesive mat was used, carefully peel it off the surface.

Maintenance

• Cleaning the Suction Cup: If the suction cup loses its grip, rinse it with warm water and let it air dry. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• General Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and fingerprints.
• Storage: When not in use, fold the arm down and store the mount in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

• Mount not sticking: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and smooth. The suction lever must be in the 'LOCK' position. For textured surfaces, ensure the adhesive mat is properly applied.
• Phone not attaching magnetically: Verify your phone is MagSafe compatible or has a magnetic ring correctly attached to its case. Ensure no obstructions are between the phone and the mount's magnetic head.
• Mount feels loose: Re-engage the suction by rotating the lever to 'UNLOCK', pressing firmly, and then rotating back to 'LOCK'. If using an adhesive mat, check its adhesion to the surface.
