Setup and Installation
Before You Begin: Ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker. Consult a qualified electrician if you are unsure about any steps.
- Prepare the Ceiling: Cut a hole in the ceiling according to the recommended cutout size (5.6" to 6.7"). Ensure there is sufficient depth (minimum 1.65 inches) for the fixture.
- Connect Wiring: Open the junction box cover. Connect the household electrical wires to the corresponding wires in the junction box (Live to Live, Neutral to Neutral, Ground to Ground). Secure connections with wire nuts.
- Secure Junction Box: Place the junction box inside the ceiling opening.
- Install Light Fixture: Connect the light fixture cable to the junction box. Push the spring clips on the side of the light fixture upwards and insert the fixture into the ceiling hole. Release the clips to secure the light in place.
- Restore Power: Once the fixture is securely installed, restore power at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions
The DUSKTEC recessed light is controlled using the included infrared (IR) remote control. No network connection or app is required.

Remote Control Functions:
- ON/OFF: Power button to turn the light on or off.
- Light Off Delay: Press once for a 1-minute delay. Press twice in quick succession for a 2-minute delay, up to 12 minutes. To cancel, press any other key or power off.
- Dim Up/Down (Fine-tuning): Adjust brightness incrementally.
- Fixed Brightness Levels: Buttons for 100%, 50%, 30%, 10%, and 0.5% (Nightlight Mode).
- General Lighting (CCT): Buttons for Warm White (WW), Daylight White (DW), Cool White (CW) to adjust color temperature.
- RGB Colors: Direct selection buttons for Red, Green, Blue, and other preset colors.
- Dynamic Modes:
- Flash Mode (S): Rapid color changes, suitable for parties.
- Smooth Mode (S with wave): Gradual color transitions for relaxation.
- Romantic Mode (S with heart): Soft, romantic color changes.
- Sync Function: All nearby DUSKTEC recessed lights can be controlled simultaneously with one remote.
- Memory Function: The light will remember the last setting (color, brightness, mode) when turned off and on using the remote control. This function is not available if the light is turned off via a wall switch.
