4. Setup

Follow these steps to prepare your Temodu Electric Ear Cleaner for first use:

  1. Remove Water Tank: Turn the main unit counter-clockwise, then pull down to detach the water tank.
  2. Clean Water Tank: Before using the device for the first time, clean the water tank thoroughly.
  3. Fill with Water: Fill the fresh water tank with lukewarm water (approximately 37°C / 98°F). Do not exceed the maximum water level indicated.
  4. Attach Nozzle: Choose a suitable nozzle (1-hole, 3-hole, or 5-hole). For first-time users, it is recommended to start with the 5-hole nozzle for a gentler experience. Securely attach it to the device.
  5. Charge Device: Connect the USB-C charging cable to the device and a power source. The LED display will show the battery level. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.

5. Operating Instructions

Once the device is set up and charged, follow these steps for ear cleaning:

  1. Power On: Press the power button to turn on the device. The LED screen will display the battery level and current mode.
  2. Select Mode: Press the mode switch button to cycle through the three pressure modes: L (Low) for gentle cleaning, P (Pulse) for strong and continuous flow, and H (High) for powerful removal of stubborn earwax. It is recommended to start with the 'L' mode for initial use.
  3. Position Device: Hold the device with the nozzle pointed towards your ear canal. Ensure the water collection basin is positioned correctly to catch wastewater.
  4. Begin Cleaning: Press the water spray button to start the irrigation. Gently move the device around the ear canal opening to ensure thorough cleaning. Do not force the nozzle deep into the ear.
  5. Monitor Progress: The dual-tank design separates clean water from wastewater, allowing you to observe the removed earwax.
  6. Repeat if Necessary: If significant earwax remains, you may repeat the process. Consider using earwax softening drops prior to irrigation for very stubborn wax.
  7. Power Off: After cleaning, press the power button to turn off the device.
