1. Introduction

The Enabot EBO Air 2 Plus is an advanced movable home camera robot designed to keep you connected with your family and pets. Featuring a 3K camera, two-way video communication, AI chat mode, and automatic recharging, the EBO Air 2 Plus offers comprehensive monitoring and interactive companionship. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your EBO Air 2 Plus robot.

3. Setup Guide

3.1. Initial Charging

1. Unpack the EBO Air 2 Plus robot, charging dock, and charger.
2. Connect the charger to the charging dock and plug it into a power outlet. An indicator light on the dock will confirm power.
3. Place the EBO Air 2 Plus onto the charging dock. Ensure the robot is correctly aligned for charging. The robot's eyes will illuminate to indicate charging.
4. Allow the robot to fully charge before first use.

3.2. App Installation and Connection

1. Download the "EBO Home" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account.
3. Add your EBO Air 2 Plus device by scanning the QR code located on the robot or its packaging, or by manually entering the device ID.
4. Connect the EBO to your home Wi-Fi network through the app. Ensure your Wi-Fi signal is strong in the areas where the robot will operate.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Basic Movement and Navigation

Control the EBO Air 2 Plus using the virtual joystick in the EBO Home app. The robot can navigate various indoor surfaces. For optimal performance, ensure clear paths and avoid high obstacles.

4.2. Two-Way Video Communication

Utilize the two-way video feature to interact with family members or pets remotely. The 3K camera provides clear visuals, and the built-in microphone and speaker enable real-time conversations.

4.3. AI Chat Mode

The EBO Air 2 Plus features an AI Chat Mode with ChatGPT and DeepSeek support. Press the top button on the robot's head to initiate a conversation. This mode allows for interactive dialogue, storytelling, and companionship.

4.4. AI Motion Tracking and Follow Mode

The robot offers two interactive tracking modes:
Follow Mode: The EBO will follow moving subjects like pets or people.
Lock Mode: The EBO rotates 360° while staying in place for fixed monitoring. AI Tracking requires the app to stay open.

4.5. Scheduled Patrol and Home Security

Set up custom patrol routes for the EBO to monitor your home regularly. The robot can navigate under furniture and into tight spaces, providing comprehensive coverage. You can set up to 10 custom patrol routes, each recommended to be under 10 meters.

4.6. Push-To-Call and Remote Check-In

For family members without mobile phones, the Push-To-Call feature allows them to initiate a video call by pressing the robot's action button. You can also remotely check in on loved ones, especially useful for elderly family members or when you miss a phone call.

4.7. Custom Facial Images and Pet Parrot Mode

Personalize your EBO by uploading custom facial images or choosing from various eye styles. The Pet Parrot Mode allows the robot to repeat words in funny voices, adding an element of playfulness. Double-tap the top button to activate Parrot Mode.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

• Wipe the exterior of the EBO Air 2 Plus with a soft, dry cloth.
• Ensure the camera lens and sensors are clean for optimal performance.
• Periodically check the wheel tracks for debris and clean as needed. The tracks are removable for easier cleaning.

5.2. Battery Care

• Always return the EBO to its charging dock when not in use to maintain battery health.
• Avoid exposing the robot to extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1. Robot does not return to charging dock

The EBO Air 2 Plus primarily relies on infrared scanning to locate its charging dock. For best results, we recommend:

• Place the dock in a clean, open area.
• Avoid placing mirrors or transparent objects near the dock, as these can interfere with the infrared signal.

6.2. Robot does not support room mapping

The EBO Air 2 Plus does not support room mapping like robotic vacuums for fully automatic navigation. You can set up to 10 custom patrol routes (we recommend keeping each under 10m).
