3. Product Features

4. Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack the Tripod: Remove the tripod and accessories from the storage bag.
  2. Extend the Legs:
    • Place the tripod on a flat surface.
    • Release the quick-flip locks on each leg section.
    • Extend the legs to the desired length. Ensure all leg sections are fully extended or retracted evenly for optimal stability.
    • Securely close all quick-flip locks to prevent leg collapse.
  3. Adjust Center Column Height:
    • Loosen the center column locking knob.
    • Raise or lower the center column to the desired height.
    • Tighten the center column locking knob firmly to secure its position.
  4. Attach Camera or Phone:
    • For cameras: Ensure your camera has a 1/4" threaded hole. Attach the camera to the quick-release plate on the tripod head and secure it.
    • For smartphones: Attach the included phone holder to the 1/4" screw on the quick-release plate. Insert your smartphone into the phone holder, ensuring it is securely gripped.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Adjusting Angles:
    • The tripod head allows for horizontal panning and vertical tilting. Loosen the appropriate knobs on the head to adjust the angle, then tighten to secure.

  2. Using the Weight Hook:
    • In situations requiring extra stability (e.g., uneven terrain, strong winds, or with heavy camera setups), extend the foldable hook from the bottom of the center axis.
    • Hang a weight, such as your camera bag, onto the hook to lower the tripod's center of gravity and increase stability.
  3. Low-Angle Shooting:
    • To achieve extremely low-angle shots, detach the tripod head from the top of the center column.
    • Unscrew the center column from the main tripod body.
    • Re-attach the tripod head to the 3/8''-16 screw located at the bottom of the center column.
    • Mount your camera or phone to the head. This configuration allows for ground-level perspectives.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the tripod with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove dust and dirt. For stubborn grime, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Lubrication: Periodically check moving parts. If any joints or locks become stiff, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant. Do not over-lubricate.
  • Storage: Store the tripod in its carrying bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure all locks are released before storing to prevent stress on the mechanisms.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect all screws, locks, and joints for any signs of wear or damage. Tighten any loose screws. If any part is damaged, discontinue use and contact customer support.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Tripod is unstable:
    • Ensure all leg sections are fully extended and their quick-flip locks are securely fastened.
    • Verify the center column locking knob is tightened.
    • Spread the legs as wide as possible for a broader base.
    • Utilize the weight hook by hanging a heavy object (e.g., camera bag) to increase stability.
  • Camera/Phone is not secure:
    • Ensure the quick-release plate is firmly attached to your device's 1/4" screw mount.
    • Confirm the quick-release plate is properly seated and locked into the tripod head.
    • For phone holders, ensure the phone is centered and the clamps are tightly gripping the device.
  • Head movement is stiff or jerky:
    • Loosen the pan and tilt locking knobs slightly to allow for smoother movement.
    • Check for any debris or obstructions in the head mechanism. Clean if necessary.
    • Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant if stiffness persists.
