3. Setup

3.1 Inserting the SIM Card

1. Ensure the device is powered off.
2. Locate the SIM card slot on the side of the device (refer to Figure 3).
3. Insert a Nano SIM card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down, ensuring it clicks into place.
4. The device supports hot-swappable SIM cards, meaning you can change SIM cards without powering off, but it's recommended to power off for initial insertion.

3.2 Charging the Device

1. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the device (refer to Figure 4).
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
3. The charging indicator LED will illuminate to show the charging status. A full charge ensures long-lasting operation.

3.3 Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the power button (refer to Figure 3) for a few seconds until the LED indicators light up.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the LED indicators turn off.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Connecting to Wi-Fi

1. Ensure the mobile hotspot is powered on and has an active SIM card with a data plan.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), open the Wi-Fi settings.
3. Search for available Wi-Fi networks. You will find two network names (SSIDs) for your hotspot: one for 2.4GHz and one for 5.8GHz (e.g., MIFI-780194-2.4G and MIFI-780194-5G). These are typically found on the back of the device (refer to Figure 2).
4. Select the desired network (5.8GHz offers faster speeds but shorter range; 2.4GHz offers wider range but slightly slower speeds).
5. Enter the Wi-Fi Key (password) displayed on the back of the device.
6. Your device should now be connected to the internet.

The hotspot supports up to 16 connected devices simultaneously.

4.2 Understanding LED Indicators

The LED indicators on the front of the device provide important status information:

• Power Indicator: Shows if the device is on or off, and battery status.
• 4G/5G Signal Indicator: Displays the strength of the cellular network signal (e.g., 3 bars for strong signal).

  • Verify that your SIM card's network bands are compatible with the device's supported frequency bands. Incompatible bands will prevent network connection.
  • Note: This product is not supported for use in South America, Japan, and Korea. Ensure you are not attempting to use it in these regions.
• Slow Internet Speed:
  • Check the signal strength. A weak signal can lead to slower speeds.
  • Reduce the number of connected devices. While it supports up to 16, heavy usage by multiple devices can impact speed.
  • Ensure your data plan is not throttled or exceeded.

• Device Not Powering On:
