1. Important Safety Information
Please read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating the TaskStar TN8000 Cordless Electric Snow Shovel. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
- Never use the snow shovel on a rooftop, frozen lakes, ice, or other unstable surfaces. This can result in serious injury.
- Clear the area of debris: Ensure that the area to be cleared is free of stones, sticks, wires, gravel, and other objects that could be accidentally thrown by the snow shovel in any direction and cause serious personal injury to the operator and others.
- Remove battery before servicing: To prevent serious personal injury, remove the battery pack from the tool before servicing, cleaning, changing attachments, or removing material from the tool.
- Do not immerse battery pack: Do not immerse the battery pack in snow, water, or other liquids at any time. Battery packs are not waterproof.
- Proper starting procedure: Start the snow shovel by following the starting instructions. Push the snow shovel forward after 3 to 5 seconds so that it rides on the scraper. The depth and weight of the snow will determine the forward speed. Do not push too hard.
- Maintain firm grip: When using the snow shovel, hold the tool with a firm grip with both hands while in operation.

4. Assembly Instructions
The TaskStar TN8000 is designed for straightforward assembly. Follow these steps to get your snow shovel ready for use:
- Connect the Handle Sections: Align the main handle shaft with the lower unit. Ensure the internal wiring is not pinched. Insert the lock knob and rotate to secure the sections firmly.
- Attach the Adjustable Front Handle: Position the adjustable front handle at a comfortable height on the main shaft. Secure it by tightening the knob. This ergonomic design helps reduce strain during operation.

5. Charging the Battery

- Insert Battery into Charger: Slide a battery pack into the charging base until it clicks into place.

- Charging Time: A full charge typically takes 2.5 to 3 hours per battery.
- Battery Life: Each 4000mAh battery provides approximately 30 minutes of runtime, offering a total of 60 minutes with both batteries.

6. Operating Instructions
Operating your TaskStar TN8000 Cordless Electric Snow Shovel is simple and efficient. Always ensure both hands are on the handle for optimal control.
- Insert Battery: Slide a fully charged battery into the battery compartment until it locks securely.
- Start the Unit: Press the trigger lock on the side of the handle with your thumb (Step 1), then hold the main trigger switch to activate the snow shovel (Step 2).
- Begin Clearing: After 3 to 5 seconds of activation, gently push the snow shovel forward. Allow the unit to ride on its scraper. Adjust your forward speed based on snow depth and density.
- Adjust Snow Throw Direction: Use the directional plate to rotate the chute up to 60 degrees, allowing you to control where the snow is thrown.
