This manual provides essential information for safe and efficient use, setup, operation, and maintenance of your power station.

2. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before using the product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the unit.
  • Keep the unit away from fire, water, and extreme temperatures.
  • Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

Display and Controls:

5. Setup

Before first use, fully charge your BougeRV Portable Power Station.

Initial Charging:

  1. Connect the provided AC adapter to the power station's input port.
  2. Plug the AC adapter into a standard wall outlet.
  3. The LED display will indicate charging status. Charge until the display shows 100%.

The power station is designed to be compatible with BougeRV portable refrigerators. It can be easily inserted into the dedicated battery compartment of compatible models.

6. Operating Instructions

Charging the Power Station (4-Way Charging):

The power station supports four charging methods:

  • AC Adapter: Connect the AC adapter to a wall outlet. (Approx. 5 hours for full charge)
  • Cigarette Lighter Socket: Use a DC charging cable to connect to a vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. (Approx. 3 hours for full charge)
  • Type-C: Connect a Type-C cable to a compatible Type-C charger. (Approx. 5 hours for full charge)
  • Solar Panel: Connect a compatible solar panel (sold separately) to the power station. (Approx. 3 hours for full charge, efficiency varies with sunlight conditions)

Powering Devices:

Connect your devices to the appropriate output ports (Cigarette Lighter, USB, or Type-C). The power station can charge up to three devices simultaneously.

  • The DC port provides a stable output of 12V or more, ensuring consistent operation for devices like portable refrigerators, even as the battery level decreases.
  • USB and Type-C ports support fast charging for smartphones.

ECO Mode:

The power station features an ECO mode to minimize self-discharge. In ECO mode, if the product is not operated for 7 hours, it will automatically power off.

  • To activate/deactivate ECO mode, double-press the LED button.

LED Light Operation:

Press the LED light button to cycle through the light modes: Weak > Strong > SOS > Off.

7. Maintenance

  • Store the power station in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
  • Charge the unit at least once every 3-6 months to maintain battery health, even if not used.
  • Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
  • Ensure all ports are free of dust and debris.

8. Troubleshooting

Cannot Charge the Battery:

If the battery is in an over-discharge state, the protection function may activate, preventing charging.

  • Solution: Use a Type-C cable to reset the system, then attempt to recharge the battery.

AC Adapter Gets Hot During Charging:

It is normal for the AC adapter to generate some heat during the conversion of AC to DC power. This can be more noticeable in warmer environments.

  • Solution: This is a normal phenomenon. The adapter is designed to operate safely even at temperatures up to 70°C. Ensure adequate ventilation around the adapter.
