1. Important Safety Information

  • FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY: This appliance is designed for outdoor use in well-ventilated areas. Do not use in garages, sheds, or any enclosed areas.
  • GAS LEAK CHECK: Always perform a leak test after connecting the gas cylinder. Use a soapy water solution; bubbles indicate a leak. Never use an open flame to check for leaks.
  • VENTILATION: Ensure adequate ventilation to prevent carbon monoxide buildup.
  • CLEARANCE TO COMBUSTIBLES: Maintain a minimum distance of 36 inches (91 cm) from the sides and rear of the appliance to any combustible materials.
  • CHILDREN AND PETS: Keep children and pets away from the appliance during operation and while it is cooling down.
  • FUEL TYPE: This stove is designed for use with LPG (Liquid Propane Gas) only. Do not attempt to use other fuels.
  • STABLE SURFACE: Always operate the stove on a level, stable, non-combustible surface.

3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to safely set up your BESTFIRE propane stove.

3.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

  1. Carefully remove the stove and all components from the packaging.
  2. Inspect for any damage during shipping. Do not use if damaged.
  3. Ensure all accessories are present: stove unit, gas hose, and regulator.

3.2 Installing Components

  1. Install Rubber Pads: If not pre-installed, attach the four rubber pads to the bottom of the stove for stability.
  2. Install Burner Rings/Supports: Place the metal burner rings securely over each burner head.

3.3 Connecting the Gas Supply

  1. Connect Hose to Stove: Securely attach the gas hose to the gas inlet on the side of the stove. Use a wrench to tighten the connection, ensuring it is snug but do not overtighten.
  2. Connect Regulator to Propane Tank: Attach the regulator to a standard QCC1/Type1 propane tank cylinder (5-40LB capacity). Ensure the regulator control knob and cylinder valve are in the OFF positions before connecting. Hand-tighten the connection.

IMPORTANT: The propane tank is not included with the stove.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Lighting the Burners

  1. Ensure the stove is on a stable, level surface and all gas connections are secure.
  2. Slowly open the valve on the propane tank.
  3. Push in and turn the desired burner knob counter-clockwise to the HIGH position. You should hear a clicking sound from the auto-ignition.
  4. If the burner does not ignite within 5 seconds, turn the knob to OFF, wait 5 minutes for gas to dissipate, and repeat the process.
  5. First Use Note: During the first use, it may take several attempts (up to 7 or more ignitions) for the burner to light, as air needs to be purged from the gas hose.

4.2 Adjusting the Flame

Once lit, rotate the burner knob to adjust the flame intensity from HIGH to LOW as needed for cooking.

4.3 Turning Off the Stove

  1. Turn all burner knobs to the OFF position.
  2. Close the valve on the propane tank.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your stove.

5.1 Cleaning the Stove Surface

  • Allow the stove to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the stainless steel surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the finish.
  • Remove burner rings and clean separately if necessary.

5.2 Burner Maintenance

  • Periodically check burner ports for blockages (e.g., food debris). Use a small wire or needle to clear any obstructions.
  • Ensure the burner heads are properly seated after cleaning.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your stove, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
