5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Filling the Bottle
- Unscrew the lid from the bottle.
- Pour your desired beverage into the bottle. Do not overfill; leave approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) of space from the top to allow for the lid and prevent spills.
- Securely screw the lid back onto the bottle.
5.2 Using the Locking, Drink-Through Lid
The lid features a locking mechanism to prevent accidental opening and a drink-through spout for easy access.
- To Open for Drinking: Slide the locking switch to the unlocked position. Press the button to flip open the drink spout.
- To Close and Lock: Push the drink spout down until it clicks securely into place. Slide the locking switch to the locked position to prevent accidental opening and ensure leakproof transport.

6. Maintenance and Care
6.1 Cleaning
For optimal hygiene and longevity, clean your bottle regularly.
- Dishwasher Safe: The bottle and lid are dishwasher safe. Place on the top rack for best results.
- Hand Washing: For thorough cleaning, especially for the lid's intricate parts, hand wash with warm, soapy water and a bottle brush. Ensure all components of the lid are cleaned to prevent residue buildup.

6.2 Storage
Store the bottle with the lid removed or slightly ajar to allow air circulation and prevent moisture buildup and odors.

- Leakage: Ensure the lid is screwed on tightly and the locking mechanism is engaged. Check the silicone seals for damage or improper placement.
- Poor Temperature Retention: Verify that the lid is fully closed and sealed. Pre-heating with hot water or pre-chilling with cold water for 5-10 minutes before filling can enhance performance.
- Lid Difficulty: If the lid is hard to open or close, ensure it is clean and free of debris. Avoid overtightening.
