Setup

  1. Unpack the Printer: Carefully remove the printer and all components from the box. Remove all packing materials, tapes, and protective films from the printer.
  2. Connect Power: Connect the power cord to the printer and then to a wall outlet. Do not connect to a surge protector or extension cord initially.
  3. Install Ink Cartridges: Open the ink cartridge access door. Wait for the carriage to move to the center. Install the HP 67 Setup Black Cartridge and HP 67 Setup Tri-Color Cartridge into their respective slots. Close the access door.
  4. Load Paper: Open the input tray and load plain paper. Adjust the paper guides to fit the paper size. The input tray has a maximum capacity of 100 sheets.

Printing

Maintenance

Replacing Ink Cartridges

When an ink cartridge runs low or is empty, the printer's LED display will indicate it. To replace:

  1. Ensure the printer is on.
  2. Open the ink cartridge access door. The carriage will move to the center.
  3. Gently press down on the empty cartridge to release it, then pull it out.
  4. Remove the new HP 67 Ink Cartridge from its packaging. Only touch the black plastic.
  5. Insert the new cartridge into its corresponding slot until it clicks into place.
  6. Close the ink cartridge access door. The printer may perform an alignment process.

Cleaning the Printer

  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the printer with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
