3.2 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the MD706. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the DC Charging Port on the device and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included). The LED screen will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours.

3.3 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the Standby button (1) on the device or the power button on the remote control to power the unit on or off.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Mode Selection

Press the MODE button (2) on the device or the remote control to cycle through the available playback modes: CD, Bluetooth (BT), FM Radio, AUX, and USB.

4.2 CD Playback

  1. Press the CD Cover Open button (13) to open the CD lid.
  2. Place a CD (CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, WMA) onto the spindle, label side up.
  3. Close the CD lid. The player will automatically detect the CD and begin playback.
  4. Use the Play/Pause (10), Previous (8), and Next (9) buttons to control playback.
  5. The MD706 supports A-B repeat and speed adjustment (+/-) for language learning or audiobook listening.

4.3 Bluetooth Transmit Mode (BT TX)

This mode allows the MD706 to send audio from a playing CD or USB to external Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

  1. Ensure the MD706 is in CD or USB mode and playing audio.
  2. Press the BT TX button (6) on the device or remote. The Bluetooth indicator on the screen will flash.
  3. Put your external Bluetooth headphones or speaker into pairing mode.
  4. The MD706 will automatically connect to the nearest discoverable Bluetooth device. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing.

4.4 Bluetooth Receive Mode (BT RX)

This mode allows the MD706 to act as a Bluetooth speaker, receiving audio from your mobile phone, tablet, or computer.

  1. Press the MODE button (2) until 'BT' appears on the display. The Bluetooth indicator will flash.
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select 'MD-706' from the list to pair. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing.
  4. You can now play audio from your mobile device through the MD706 speakers.

4.5 FM Radio

  1. Press the MODE button (2) or CD/FM button (4) until 'FM' appears on the display.
  2. Extend the telescopic antenna for better reception.
  3. Use the Previous (8) and Next (9) buttons to manually tune to a station. Press and hold these buttons for automatic scanning.

4.6 AUX Mode

Connect external audio devices (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) using the provided 3.5mm AUX cable.

  1. Press the MODE button (2) until 'AUX' appears on the display.
  2. Connect one end of the AUX cable to the Earphone / AUX Out Port (14) on the MD706 and the other end to the audio output of your external device.
  3. Play audio from your external device. The sound will be output through the MD706 speakers.

4.7 USB Mode

Play MP3 or WMA audio files directly from a USB flash drive.

  1. Insert a USB flash drive (up to 32GB) into the USB Port (17).
  2. Press the MODE button (2) until 'USB' appears on the display.
  3. The player will automatically detect and begin playing audio files from the USB drive.
  4. Use the Play/Pause (10), Previous (8), and Next (9) buttons to control playback.

4.8 Volume Control

Adjust the volume using the VOL- (5) and VOL+ (5) buttons on the device or the remote control.

4.9 Equalizer Settings

Press the EQ button (3) on the device or remote control to cycle through the 5 preset equalizer modes: BBS (Extra Bass), Pop, Jazz, Rock, and Classic. The default setting is Flat.
