Maintenance and Cleaning

CAUTION: Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the kettle and the power base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the finish.
  • Interior: The interior of the kettle is made of 100% food-grade 304 stainless steel. To clean, rinse with water. For mineral deposits (limescale), fill the kettle with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar. Let it soak for at least 30 minutes, or boil the mixture and let it stand for 15-20 minutes. Empty the kettle and rinse thoroughly several times with fresh water.
  • Do Not Immerse: Never immerse the kettle or the power base in water or any other liquid.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the kettle in a dry place.
