4. Setup Instructions

  1. Charge the Devices: Before first use, fully charge both the transmitter and receiver using the provided USB Type-C cable. The battery indicator on the display will show charging status.
  2. Power On: Press and hold the "POWER" button on both the transmitter and receiver for approximately 3 seconds until the display illuminates and shows "hello". The devices will automatically pair.
  3. Connect the Receiver: Plug the receiver directly into the XLR input of your audio mixer, PA system, or other compatible audio interface. If your device uses a 1/4 inch input, use one of the provided XLR to 1/4 inch adapters.
  4. Connect the Transmitter to Microphone:
    • For dynamic microphones, simply plug the microphone's XLR output directly into the transmitter's XLR input.
    • For condenser microphones requiring phantom power, ensure the 48V phantom power is activated on the transmitter by pressing the "48V" button. Plug the condenser microphone's XLR output into the transmitter.
    • For instruments like guitars or keyboards with 1/4 inch outputs, use the appropriate XLR to 1/4 inch adapter to connect to the transmitter.
  5. Secure the Microphone (Optional): If using with a microphone, twist the mic lock mechanism on the transmitter to secure it firmly to the microphone, preventing accidental disconnection.

  1. Channel Selection: The STRICH M3 system offers 16 channels. To change the channel, double-click the power button on the transmitter. The receiver will automatically sync to the new channel. This helps avoid interference in environments with multiple wireless devices.
  2. Gain Mode Adjustment: Press and hold the "MIC/LINE" button on the transmitter to switch between MIC and LINE gain modes. Select the appropriate mode based on the input source (microphone or line-level instrument) to optimize audio levels.
  3. Phantom Power (48V) Activation: For condenser microphones that require external power, press the "48V" button on the transmitter to activate phantom power. Ensure your microphone is compatible before activating.
  4. Monitoring: Ensure your audio mixer or PA system is properly configured to receive the signal from the STRICH M3 receiver. Adjust volume levels on your main audio equipment as needed.
