1. Product Overview

The Newbealer Steam Generator Iron is designed for efficient and effective garment care, combining powerful steam generation with versatile ironing capabilities. This appliance features a 1500W heating element, 2 bar steam pressure, and a ceramic soleplate for optimal performance.

3. Setup

1. Fill the Water Tank: The iron features an 11.84oz (350ml) detachable water tank. Remove the tank, fill it with clean water (preferably distilled water to prevent mineral buildup), and reattach it securely.

2. Power On: Plug the iron into a suitable power outlet. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn it on. The indicator light will flash red while heating and turn solid green when ready for use. Heating typically takes less than 1 minute.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Selecting Fabric Modes

The iron offers five LED-guided modes for different fabrics and four steam/dry heat settings. Short press the power button to cycle through the available modes: Self-clean, Turbo, Wool, Cotton, Synth, and Silk. Select the appropriate mode for your garment type.

4.2 Steaming and Ironing

The Newbealer Steam Generator Iron supports both horizontal and vertical steaming, as well as dry ironing.

• Horizontal Ironing: For traditional ironing on an ironing board, select your desired mode and glide the iron over the fabric. Press the steam trigger for continuous steam (20-50g/min) or use the turbo steam burst (200g/min) for stubborn wrinkles.
• Vertical Steaming: For quick touch-ups on hanging garments, curtains, or delicate fabrics, hold the iron upright and press the steam trigger. The 360° anti-drip design prevents water leakage.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Self-Cleaning Function

To maintain optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your iron, utilize the self-cleaning function regularly. This feature is designed to minimize calcium buildup and flush out mineral deposits.

1. Ensure the water tank is filled.
2. Place the iron over a sink or basin.
3. Select the 'Self-clean' mode on the LED display.
4. Hold the steam trigger to activate the self-cleaning process. Steam and hot water will be expelled to clear internal pathways.

5.2 Water Tank Care

The detachable water tank can be easily removed for cleaning. Rinse the tank periodically to prevent residue accumulation. Always ensure the tank is securely reattached before use.

7. Troubleshooting

• No Steam Output: Ensure the water tank is filled and correctly inserted. Check that the iron has reached its operating temperature (indicator light is solid green). Verify that the steam mode is selected and the steam trigger is pressed.
• Water Dripping: Ensure the iron has fully heated up before using the steam function. The 360° anti-drip system is designed to prevent this, but insufficient heating can cause minor drips.
• Iron Not Heating: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a functional outlet. Ensure the power button has been pressed and held for 2 seconds to turn the unit on.
• Poor Wrinkle Removal: Ensure the correct fabric mode is selected for the garment. For stubborn wrinkles, use the turbo steam burst function.
