4. Setup

Filling the Water Tank:

1. Ensure the iron is unplugged and cool.
2. Detach the water tank from the iron.
3. Fill the tank with distilled or demineralized water using the provided filling cup. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
4. Reattach the water tank securely to the iron.

5. Operating Instructions

Powering On and Mode Selection:

1. Plug the iron into a suitable power outlet (120V AC).
2. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn the iron on. The indicator light will flash red during heating.
3. Once the iron reaches the selected temperature, the light will turn solid green.
4. Press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the available fabric modes (e.g., Poly, Wool, Cotton, Silk, Linen).

Steaming and Ironing:

• Horizontal Ironing: Place the garment flat on an ironing board. Glide the iron over the fabric. For steam, continuously press the steam trigger located under the handle.
• Vertical Steaming: Hang the garment. Hold the iron vertically a few inches from the fabric and press the steam trigger. The 360° anti-drip design prevents water leakage.
• Dry Ironing: Select a dry heat mode if steam is not desired.

6. Maintenance

Self-Cleaning Function:

The self-cleaning function helps to remove mineral deposits and maintain optimal steam performance.

1. Ensure the water tank is filled to the MAX line.
2. Plug in the iron and turn it on. Select the highest temperature setting.
3. Once heated, hold the iron horizontally over a sink or basin.
4. Press and hold the self-clean button (refer to the iron's interface for exact location). Hot water and steam will flush out mineral buildup.
5. Continue until the tank is empty or the water runs clear.
6. Unplug the iron and allow it to cool completely before storing.

General Cleaning and Storage:

• Wipe the exterior of the iron with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
