2. Product Overview

3. Setup and First Use
3.1 Before First Use
- Remove any stickers or protective covers from the soleplate.
- It is normal for a small amount of smoke or odor to be produced during the first few minutes of use. This will disappear quickly.
- To clean the soleplate, iron an old damp cloth for a few minutes.
3.2 Filling the Water Tank
- Ensure the iron is unplugged from the mains.
- Set the steam control dial to the "Dry" position (no steam).
- Open the water tank inlet cover.
- Fill the tank with tap water up to the "MAX" level indicated. Do not overfill.
- Close the water tank inlet cover securely.
Note: For optimal performance and to prolong the life of your iron, use regular tap water. If your water is very hard, mix 50% tap water with 50% distilled water. Do not use 100% distilled water or demineralized water, as this can cause the iron to spit.
4. Operating the Iron
4.1 Temperature Setting
- Plug the iron into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn the temperature control dial to the desired setting according to the fabric type. Refer to the fabric care labels on your garments.
- The indicator light will illuminate, showing the iron is heating. It will turn off when the selected temperature is reached.
Tip: Always start with fabrics requiring lower temperatures and progress to higher temperatures to avoid damaging delicate items.
4.2 Dry Ironing
- Ensure the steam control dial is set to "Dry" (no steam).
- Select the appropriate temperature for your fabric.
- Once the indicator light turns off, the iron is ready for dry ironing.
4.3 Steam Ironing
- Fill the water tank as described in Section 3.2.
- Set the temperature control dial to a setting suitable for steam (usually between ••• and MAX). The indicator light will turn off when ready.
- Adjust the steam control dial to the desired steam output:
- ECO: For energy-saving steam ironing.
- MAX: For maximum steam output (45 g/min continuous steam) for stubborn creases.
- Iron your garments.

4.4 Steam Boost (Shot of Steam)
- Press the steam boost button for an extra burst of steam (up to 200 g/min) to remove particularly stubborn creases.
- Wait a few seconds between each shot to allow the iron to reheat and build up steam.

4.5 Vertical Steam
- This function is ideal for removing creases from hanging garments, curtains, or delicate fabrics.
- Set the temperature control dial to MAX.
- Hold the iron vertically, a few centimeters away from the fabric.
- Press the steam boost button repeatedly to release steam.
4.6 Spray Function
- Press the spray button to moisten stubborn creases.
- This function can be used with or without steam.

5. Maintenance and Storage
5.1 Cleaning the Soleplate
- Always unplug the iron and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth or a non-abrasive sponge.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or metallic scouring pads, as these can damage the soleplate.
5.2 Anti-Calc System (Self-Clean)
The iron features an integrated anti-calc system to reduce limescale build-up. For optimal performance, perform the self-clean function regularly (e.g., once a month, depending on water hardness).
- Fill the water tank to the MAX level.
- Plug in the iron and set the temperature control dial to MAX.
- Once the indicator light turns off, unplug the iron.
- Hold the iron horizontally over a sink.
- Press and hold the self-clean button. Water, steam, and scale particles will be flushed out of the soleplate.
- Gently shake the iron back and forth until the water tank is empty.
- Release the self-clean button.
- Reheat the iron to dry the soleplate.
- Unplug and allow to cool before storing.
5.3 Anti-Drip System
This system prevents water from dripping from the soleplate when the iron's temperature is too low for steam production. If you notice dripping, ensure the iron has reached the correct temperature for steam ironing.
5.4 Storage
- Unplug the iron and allow it to cool completely.
- Empty any remaining water from the tank.
- Store the iron in an upright position to protect the soleplate.
- Do not wrap the cord tightly around the soleplate.
6. Troubleshooting
