2. Filter Cleaning

The timer includes a metal filter at the inlet to prevent impurities from entering the system. Periodically inspect and clean the filter to ensure optimal water flow and prevent damage to the internal solenoids.

3. Winterization

During winter months or when temperatures are expected to drop below freezing, it is recommended to disconnect the timer from the faucet and store it indoors in a dry, frost-free location. This prevents potential damage from freezing water.

Troubleshooting

  • No Water Flow: Check if the faucet is fully open. Ensure batteries are not low or depleted. Verify that the program is set to 'AUTO' and a watering schedule is active.
  • Leaks at Connections: Ensure all connections are tightened securely. Check for proper placement of sealing gaskets and apply thread-sealing tape if necessary. Inspect hoses for damage.
  • Incorrect Watering Times: Re-check your 'Set Clock', 'Start Time', 'How Long', and 'How Often' settings for each zone. Ensure the timer is in 'AUTO' mode.
  • Display Not Working: Replace batteries. If the issue persists, contact customer service.
