Step 2: Attach Wall Plate to Wall

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your TV wall mount.
- Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
- Clean the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure the articulating arms move smoothly. If movement becomes stiff, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the pivot points.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues, refer to the following common solutions:
- TV not level: Use the micro-leveling adjustment feature (+/-3°) on the TV brackets to correct the tilt.
- Mount feels loose: Re-check all wall mounting bolts and TV bracket screws. Ensure they are securely tightened. If installing on wood studs, confirm the lag bolts are fully engaged in the studs.
- Difficulty adjusting TV: Ensure no cables are snagged or obstructing movement. Check that all adjustment knobs or screws are loosened before attempting to reposition the TV, and tightened afterward.
- Missing parts: Refer to the 'Package Contents' section. If any parts are missing, contact monTEK customer support.
