Setup

1. Charging the Glasses

Before first use, fully charge your GenXenon YX01 Smart Glasses. Use the provided magnetic charging cable. Connect the magnetic ends to the charging ports on each temple arm of the glasses. Plug the USB end into a 5V/1A adapter. Avoid fast chargers or multi-port chargers, as they may deliver excess voltage and damage the cable or battery. A red indicator light will appear during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge typically takes 1.5 hours.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

After charging, ensure your glasses are powered off. To enter pairing mode, long-press the touch control area on both temple arms simultaneously until the indicator lights flash blue and red. On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and search for 'YX01-Smart Glasses' in the list of available devices. Select it to pair. Once successfully paired, the indicator lights will stop flashing and remain solid blue or turn off, depending on the model.

Operating Instructions

Touch Controls

The GenXenon YX01 Smart Glasses feature intuitive touch controls located on the temple arms. Familiarize yourself with the following gestures:

• Power On: Long press the touch area for 2 seconds.
• Power Off: Long press the touch area for 5 seconds.
• Play/Pause Music: One click on either touch area.
• Next Track: Double-click on the right touch area.
• Previous Track: Three clicks on the left touch area.
• Answer/Hang Up Calls: One click on either touch area.
• Reject Call: Long press on either touch area for 2 seconds.
• Wake Up Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant): Long press on either touch area for 2 seconds.

Note: Volume can only be adjusted via your mobile phone.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your GenXenon YX01 Smart Glasses, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Use the provided glasses cloth to gently wipe the lenses and frame. For stubborn smudges, use a lens cleaning spray designed for eyewear. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: When not in use, store the glasses in the eyeglasses storage bag to protect them from scratches and dust.
• Water Exposure: While IPX5 waterproof, avoid submerging the glasses in water. Dry them thoroughly if they get wet from sweat or light rain.
• Temperature: Avoid exposing the glasses to extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, as this can damage the battery and electronic components.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your GenXenon YX01 Smart Glasses, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Cannot Power On: Ensure the glasses are fully charged. Connect them to the charger and check for the red indicator light.
• Cannot Pair via Bluetooth: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and the glasses are in pairing mode (flashing blue/red lights). Try restarting both your phone and the glasses.
• No Audio/Poor Audio Quality: Check the volume levels on both your glasses (via touch controls) and your smartphone. Ensure the glasses are within Bluetooth range of your device.
• Touch Controls Unresponsive: Ensure the glasses are powered on. Try restarting the glasses.
• Photochromic Lenses Not Changing: Ensure the glasses are exposed to sufficient UV light (sunlight). The transition may take a few moments.
