Setup and Installation

Before initial use, ensure the solar light is charged in direct sunlight for 6-8 hours. If the battery is depleted, it is advisable to charge for 2-3 days to reset the desired mode. The recommended installation height is 8.2 feet, with solar panels facing direct sunlight without obstacles.

  1. Select Location: Choose an outdoor location that receives ample direct sunlight throughout the day for optimal charging.
  2. Drill Holes: Drill two holes in the wall at the desired installation height.
  3. Insert Wall Plugs: Insert the provided wall plugs into the drilled holes.
  4. Attach Bracket: Remove the knob from the bracket. Insert the screws to fix the bracket securely to the wall.
  5. Mount Light: Tighten the knob to mount the solar light onto the bracket.
  6. Adjust Panels: Adjust the solar panel and light heads to achieve the best angle for sunlight exposure and illumination coverage. The light heads are adjustable up to 90 degrees.
  7. Activate: Ensure the on/off switch on the back of the unit is in the "ON" position.

Operating Instructions

The Ensenior Solar Security Light features two motion sensors with a 180° detection angle and a range of up to 32.8 feet. It offers four lighting modes, selectable via the included remote control or the button on the light unit.

Lighting Modes:

  • Mode 1: Security Mode - Motion detection triggers 15 seconds of flashing, followed by 15 seconds of steady high brightness, then turns off.
  • Mode 2: Sensor Mode - Turns on high brightness when motion is detected and turns off approximately 30 seconds after motion ceases.
  • Mode 3: Dim on + Sensor Mode (ECO) - Stays on at a dim brightness (10%) at night. When motion is detected, it switches to high brightness for 30 seconds, then returns to dim.
  • Mode 4: 8H Always On Mode - The light stays on at a medium brightness (30%) for 8 hours after dark, regardless of motion.

To select a mode using the remote control, press the corresponding button. The light will illuminate for a few seconds to confirm the mode selection. The solar light will not turn on during daytime charging.

If the remote control battery is depleted or the remote is lost, you can cycle through the modes using the physical button on the light unit: Press once for Mode 1, twice for Mode 2, three times for Mode 3, four times for Mode 4, and five times to turn OFF.

Maintenance

  • Charging: For optimal performance, ensure the solar panel receives 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the solar panel and LED surfaces with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris, which can affect charging efficiency and light output.
  • Waterproofing: The light is IP65 waterproof, designed to withstand rain, snowstorms, and other outdoor elements. However, avoid submerging the unit in water.
  • Battery: The unit contains a high-capacity 1800mAh battery. If the battery is fully depleted, it may require 2-3 days of charging to restore full functionality and mode settings.
