Setup and Assembly
The Orange Factory Criss Cross Chair is designed for quick and straightforward assembly. All necessary tools and instructions are included in the package.
Before You Begin:
- Unpack all components and verify against the parts list in the included instruction manual.
- Ensure you have a clear, flat workspace to prevent damage to the chair or your flooring.
- Keep small parts out of reach of children.
Assembly Steps:
- Attach the casters (wheels) or stable footpads to the chair base. The dual base option allows you to choose between mobility and stationary use.
- Insert the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the base.
- Attach the seat plate mechanism to the underside of the seat cushion using the provided screws.
- Carefully place the assembled seat onto the gas lift cylinder.
- Attach the backrest to the seat assembly.
- Tighten all screws securely, but do not overtighten.

Operating Instructions
Height Adjustment:
To adjust the chair's height, locate the lever on the right side beneath the seat. While seated, pull the lever up to lower the chair. To raise the chair, stand up slightly and pull the lever up. Release the lever at your desired height.
360° Swivel:
The chair is equipped with a 360° swivel function, allowing for easy rotation in any direction without moving the base. Simply rotate the seat as needed.
Tilt Tension Control and Lock:
The chair features a tilt mechanism that allows the backrest to recline up to 30 degrees. To adjust the tilt tension, turn the knob located under the front of the seat. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).
To lock the chair in an upright position, push the height adjustment lever inwards. To unlock and allow tilting, pull the lever outwards.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your Orange Factory Criss Cross Chair.
Cleaning the PU Leather:
- For general cleaning, wipe the PU leather surface with a soft, damp cloth.
- For tougher spots, use a mild soap solution and wipe gently. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the material.
- Immediately wipe up any spills to prevent staining.
- Dry the surface thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth after cleaning.
Base and Casters/Pads:
- Regularly check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Retighten if necessary.
- If using casters, periodically clean any dust or debris from the wheels to ensure smooth rolling.
- If using stable footpads, ensure they are clean and free of debris to maintain stability.

Troubleshooting
