1. Overview

The RCA WAVE-76 ANC Bluetooth Wireless Headphones provide an immersive audio experience with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. Designed for comfort and convenience, these headphones feature long battery life, dual-device connection, and a transparency mode to keep you aware of your surroundings.

3. Controls and Indicators

Familiarize yourself with the headphone controls for optimal use.

  • Power Button: Press and hold to power on/off. Short press for play/pause.
  • Volume + Button: Short press to increase volume. Long press for next track.
  • Volume - Button: Short press to decrease volume. Long press for previous track.
  • ANC Button: Press to cycle through ANC On, Transparency Mode, and ANC Off.
  • Type-C Charging Port: For charging the headphones.
  • 3.5mm Audio Jack: For wired connection.
  • LED Indicator: Shows power status, pairing status, and charging status.

4. Charging

Before first use, fully charge the headphones.

  1. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the Type-C charging port on the headphones.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The LED indicator will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, blue for fully charged).
  4. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours. A 5-minute fast charge provides up to 4 hours of playtime.

The headphones offer up to 40 hours of playtime with ANC on and 60 hours in normal mode on a full charge.

5. Setup

5.1 Powering On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds. The LED indicator will flash blue.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds. The LED indicator will turn off.

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the headphones are powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Power Button for 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "RCA WAVE-76" from the list.
  5. Once connected, the LED indicator will flash blue slowly.

5.3 Dual Connections

The headphones can connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously.

  1. Pair the headphones with the first device as described in section 5.2.
  2. Disable Bluetooth on the first device. The headphones will re-enter pairing mode.
  3. Pair the headphones with the second device.
  4. Re-enable Bluetooth on the first device. The headphones should automatically connect to both devices.

5.4 Wired Connection (AUX)

To use the headphones in wired mode:

  1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the headphone's 3.5mm audio jack.
  2. Connect the other end to your audio source's 3.5mm audio output.
  3. The headphones will automatically switch to wired mode. Bluetooth functions will be disabled.

6. Operating

6.1 Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Transparency Mode

Press the ANC Button to cycle through the following modes:

  • ANC On: Reduces external noise by up to 90%. Ideal for travel or noisy environments.
  • Transparency Mode: Allows ambient sounds to pass through, keeping you aware of your surroundings. Useful for announcements or conversations.
  • ANC Off: Standard listening mode without noise cancellation.

6.2 Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Short press the Power Button.
  • Next Track: Long press the Volume + Button.
  • Previous Track: Long press the Volume - Button.

6.3 Call Functions

  • Answer/End Call: Short press the Power Button.
  • Reject Call: Long press the Power Button.
  • Activate Voice Assistant (Siri/Alexa): Double-press the Power Button.

6.4 Volume Control

  • Increase Volume: Short press the Volume + Button.
  • Decrease Volume: Short press the Volume - Button.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headphones. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the headphones in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When not in use, it is recommended to fold them for compact storage.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the headphones frequently. Charge them regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
