3. Setup and Installation

The Casta Diva CD-K030PRO Smart Toilet is designed for floor-mounted installation. Pre-Installation Checklist:

• Verify rough-in dimensions (typically 12 inches).
• Ensure adequate water pressure and a dedicated electrical outlet are available.

General Installation Steps (Summary):

1. Prepare the installation area, ensuring the floor flange is clean and ready.
2. Install the wax ring onto the toilet's waste outlet.
3. Carefully position the toilet over the floor flange, aligning the bolts.
4. Secure the toilet to the floor using the provided ceramic installation kits and expansion screws.
5. Connect the water supply line to the angle valve.
6. Connect the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet.
7. Perform initial water fill and leak checks.

4. Operating Instructions

Automatic Lid and Seat Operation:

The toilet features an automatic open/close lid. As you approach, the lid will automatically open. Upon completion of use and departure, the lid will close automatically, and the toilet will flush.

Foot Sensor Control:

An upgraded blue light sensing foot operation allows for hands-free control. Tap the foot sensor to open the seat or initiate flushing.

Flushing System:

The toilet utilizes a powerful 1000g MaP flushing system with a built-in tank, ensuring efficient and reliable flushing without reliance on external water pressure. Automatic hands-free flushing occurs when you walk away.

Bidet Functions:

The integrated bidet offers multiple warm water cleaning modes:

• Rear Wash: For posterior cleansing.
• Front Wash: For feminine cleansing.
• Oscillating Massage: Provides a gentle, moving spray for enhanced cleaning.

The bidet features 0.1-second instant warm water for immediate comfort. The automatic self-cleaning nozzle initiates before every use for hygiene.

Intelligent Temperature Adjustment:

The smart toilet can automatically adjust the seat and water temperature based on the ambient temperature, offering 5 different temperature modes for year-round comfort. Note: This function is off by default. Please activate it according to the detailed instructions in the full user manual for first-time use.

Foam Shield Protection:

When you sit down, the toilet creates a thick foam barrier to prevent splashes, trap odors, and resist sticking. To prepare the foam solution, mix dishwashing liquid 1:1 with water.

Heated Seat and Warm Air Dryer:

Enjoy a 5-speed heated wider seat for comfort in colder conditions. A 3-level warm air dryer provides adjustable drying after bidet use.

The toilet operates with a quiet 45dB flush. A soft night light is integrated for safety and convenience during nighttime use.

Automatic Deodorization:

The toilet includes an auto deodorizer to maintain a fresh bathroom environment.

Blackout Flush:

In the event of a power outage, the toilet's blackout flush feature ensures continued functionality, typically powered by AA batteries (not included for main operation, but for backup flush).

5. Maintenance

Nozzle Cleaning:

The bidet nozzle performs an automatic self-cleaning cycle before each use. For deeper cleaning or descaling, the Needle-Jet Cleaning feature provides automatic descaling, deep cleaning, and helps prevent limescale damage, extending the nozzle's lifespan.

Foam Dispenser Maintenance:

Regularly refill the foam solution reservoir with a 1:1 mixture of dishwashing liquid and water.

General Cleaning:

Clean the ceramic surfaces with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive bathroom cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads that could damage the finish.
