  1. Open the top cover of the litter box.
  2. Pour clumping cat litter into the drum. Ensure the litter level is between the MIN and MAX fill lines indicated inside the drum. Do not overfill.

3.3 App Connection (2.4G WiFi Only)

  1. Download the ECORUI app from your smartphone's app store.
  2. Create an account or log in.
  3. Plug in the litter box. Press and hold the WiFi button on the unit for 3 seconds until you hear a "beep" sound, indicating it is ready to connect.
  4. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your device to your 2.4G WiFi network. The app will guide you through the pairing process.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Automatic Cleaning Cycle

The ECORUI M4 automatically initiates a cleaning cycle after your cat exits the unit and a preset delay has passed. This delay can be adjusted via the app.

4.2 Manual Operation

  • Manual Clean: Press the clean button (usually indicated by a broom icon) on the unit for 1 second to initiate a cleaning cycle.
  • Empty Waste Bin: Press and hold the empty button (usually indicated by a trash can icon) on the unit for 3 seconds to empty the waste into the collection drawer.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Emptying the Waste Bin

The waste bin should be emptied regularly. The app will provide notifications when the bin is full. To empty:

  1. Pull out the waste drawer located at the bottom front of the unit.
  2. Remove the used litter liner bag and dispose of it.
  3. Insert a new litter liner bag into the drawer.
  4. Slide the waste drawer back into the unit until it clicks into place.

For thorough cleaning, the drum and waste bin are washable. Disconnect the power cord before cleaning.

  • Drum: The drum can be removed for washing. Use mild soap and water. Ensure it is completely dry before reassembling.
