4. Charging Instructions

The Canslab IRON is equipped with a rechargeable battery, offering cordless operation.

  1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the device.
  2. Connect the provided USB-C charging cord to the can opener and to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer, power bank).
  3. The LED digital monitor will indicate the charging status. A full charge typically takes 1.5 hours and provides enough power to open over 200 standard cans.
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cord.

5. Operating Instructions

The Canslab IRON is designed for effortless, hands-free can opening.

5.1 Opening a Can

  1. Place the can opener on top of the can, ensuring the cutting blade is aligned with the can's rim.
  2. Press the power button once to activate. The can opener will automatically grip the can and begin cutting along the side.
  3. The device will automatically stop once the cutting cycle is complete.
  4. To remove the lid, simply lift the can opener straight up. The undermount magnet will hold the lid securely.

5.2 Using the Lid Removal Tool

For lids that are difficult to remove, utilize the integrated slide-out lid removal tool.

  1. After the can is opened, slide out the small tool located on the side of the can opener.
  2. Gently hook the tool under the edge of the lid and lift to detach.
