5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the speaker's USB-C port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours.
  4. Once fully charged, the indicator light will change or turn off, depending on the model. Disconnect the charging cable.

The speaker offers up to 24 hours of playback at 50% volume on a full charge.

5.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Long press the Power button until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator lights turn on.
  • To Power Off: Long press the Power button again until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator lights turn off.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by a flashing blue LED). If not, short press the 'M' button to switch modes.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
  3. Search for available devices and select "Monster Prism" from the list.
  4. Once paired, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation, and the blue LED will remain solid.
  5. To disconnect, double-click the 'M' button. To reconnect, double-click the 'M' button again or select "Monster Prism" from your device's Bluetooth list.

6.2 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

TWS allows you to pair two Monster Prism speakers for an immersive stereo sound experience.

  1. Ensure both Monster Prism speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), long press the Play/Pause button. The speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
  3. The primary speaker will automatically search for and connect to the second speaker.
  4. Once successfully paired, both speakers will emit an audible confirmation. The primary speaker's LED will flash blue, and the secondary speaker's LED will be solid blue.
  5. Now, connect your Bluetooth device to the primary speaker as described in section 6.1. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.
  6. To exit TWS mode, long press the Play/Pause button on either speaker.

6.3 Adjusting Volume and Playback

  • Play/Pause: Short press the Play/Pause button.
  • Volume Up: Short press the '+' button.
  • Volume Down: Short press the '-' button.
  • Next Track: Long press the '+' button.
  • Previous Track: Long press the '-' button.

6.4 Ambient Light Effects

The Monster Prism speaker features ambient LED lights that pulse to the rhythm of your music.

6.5 AUX Input Mode

  1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the speaker's AUX input port.
  2. Connect the other end to the audio output jack of your external device.

6.6 TF Card Input Mode

  1. Insert a Micro SD (TF) card containing MP3 or WAV audio files into the speaker's TF card slot.

6.7 Hands-Free Calling
