• Maintain a minimum clearance of 24 inches (61 cm) from the sides and rear of the fire pit to any combustible materials.

• Ensure the fire pit is placed on a level, non-combustible surface.
• Do not use the fire pit in windy conditions without the glass wind guard properly installed.
• Allow the fire pit to cool completely before moving or covering it.

Assembly Instructions

Assembly typically requires two adults. Ensure all parts are present before beginning. Refer to the included hardware pack and diagrams for specific component identification.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Place them on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
2. Assemble Base Structure: Follow the diagrams to connect the side panels and support beams of the fire pit base using the provided screws and tools. Ensure all connections are secure.
3. Attach Top Panel: Carefully place the black tabletop onto the assembled base. Secure it with the designated fasteners from underneath.
4. Install Burner Unit: Insert the burner pan into the opening on the tabletop. Connect the gas hose to the burner unit.
5. Place Lava Rocks/Fire Glass: Distribute the decorative lava rocks or fire glass evenly over the burner pan, ensuring not to cover the igniter or burner holes.
6. Install Glass Wind Guard: Position the glass panels around the burner and secure them with the corner brackets and screws. Do not overtighten.

Setup

1. Placement: Position the fire pit on a hard, level, non-combustible surface. Ensure adequate clearance from combustible materials as specified in the safety section.
2. Propane Tank Connection: Connect the 6.5 ft propane hose adapter to a standard 20 lb propane cylinder (not included). Ensure the connection is tight and secure. Place the propane tank outside the fire pit, in a well-ventilated area, away from the heat source.
3. Leak Test: Before first use and after any cylinder change, perform a leak test. Mix a solution of equal parts water and liquid dish soap. With the propane cylinder valve open, apply the solution to all gas connections. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Close the cylinder valve immediately and tighten connections. Repeat the test. If leaks persist, do not use the fire pit and contact customer support.

Operating Instructions

Lighting the Fire Pit:

1. Ensure the control knob on the fire pit is in the "OFF" position.
2. Open the valve on the propane cylinder slowly.
3. Push and turn the control knob to the "LOW" position.
4. Press and hold the igniter button. You should hear a clicking sound.
5. If the flame does not ignite within 5 seconds, release the control knob and igniter button, turn the control knob to "OFF", and wait 5 minutes for gas to clear before attempting to light again.
6. Once lit, continue to hold the control knob in for 10-15 seconds to allow the thermocouple to heat up. Release the knob; the flame should remain lit.

Adjusting the Flame:

Rotate the control knob between "LOW" and "HIGH" to adjust the flame height and heat output to your desired level.

Turning Off the Fire Pit:

1. Turn the control knob on the fire pit to the "OFF" position.
2. Close the valve on the propane cylinder completely.
3. Allow the fire pit to cool down before covering or storing.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

• Ensure the fire pit is completely cool before cleaning.
• Wipe exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
• Clean the burner and igniter area periodically to ensure no debris obstructs gas flow or ignition.
• The glass wind guard can be cleaned with glass cleaner.

Storage:

• Disconnect the propane cylinder and store it in a well-ventilated outdoor area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
• Cover the fire pit with a weather-resistant cover when not in use, especially during inclement weather or off-season.
• Store the fire pit in a cool, dry place if possible, to prolong its lifespan.
