2. Setup and Initial Adjustment
2.1 Unboxing and Inspection
Upon receiving your OLEVS 3645 watch, carefully remove it from its packaging. Inspect the watch for any visible damage. The package should include the watch, a gift box, watch adjusters, and warranty information.
2.2 Setting the Time
- Pull the crown (the knob on the right side of the watch) out to the second click position.
- Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the hour and minute hands to the correct time.
- Once the time is set, push the crown back into its original position.
2.3 Setting the Date
- Pull the crown out to the first click position.
- Turn the crown clockwise to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this may interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.
- After setting the date, push the crown back into its original position.
2.4 Band Adjustment
The watch comes with a tool for adjusting the stainless steel and wood band. To adjust the band length:
- Identify the pins on the side of the links that need to be removed.
- Use the provided adjuster tool to push the pins out in the direction of the arrow (usually found on the inside of the link).
- Remove the desired number of links.
- Reconnect the band by inserting the pins back into the links, ensuring they are securely fastened.

3. Operating the Watch
3.1 Basic Timekeeping
The main hands display the current hour and minute. The small sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position indicates the 24-hour time, which can also serve as a day/night indicator.
3.2 Chronograph Function
The OLEVS 3645 features a chronograph (stopwatch) function. The two push-buttons on the side of the watch, above and below the crown, control this feature.
- Start/Stop: Press the upper push-button to start the chronograph. Press it again to stop the measurement.
- Reset: While the chronograph is stopped, press the lower push-button to reset all chronograph hands (seconds, minutes) back to their zero positions.
The sub-dial at the 9 o'clock position measures chronograph minutes, and the sub-dial at the 3 o'clock position measures chronograph seconds.
3.3 Water Resistance (30 Meters / 3 ATM)
This watch is water-resistant up to 30 meters (3 ATM). This means it is suitable for daily use, such as splashes, rain, or brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for swimming, diving, or showering with hot water. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.
4. Maintenance and Care
4.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the watch case and band regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt.
- For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
- Avoid using chemical cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's finish and wood components.
4.2 Battery Replacement
The OLEVS 3645 uses a quartz movement powered by a battery. When the watch stops or the second hand starts skipping, it indicates a low battery. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watchmaker to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
4.3 Wood Component Care
The natural wood elements of your watch require specific care:
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, which can cause the wood to dry out or crack.
- Minimize contact with harsh chemicals, perfumes, and lotions.
- While the watch is water-resistant, excessive moisture can affect the wood. Dry the watch immediately if it gets wet.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Watch Not Running
- Check the crown: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in. If it's pulled out, the watch will not run.
- Battery: The battery may be depleted. Refer to Section 4.2 for battery replacement.
- Impact: If the watch has suffered a severe impact, internal components may be damaged. Seek professional repair.
5.2 Incorrect Time or Date
- Resetting: Follow the instructions in Sections 2.2 and 2.3 to reset the time and date.
- Crown position: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in after setting.
- Battery: A weak battery can sometimes affect timekeeping accuracy.
5.3 Chronograph Not Functioning or Resetting Properly
- Reset sequence: Ensure you are pressing the buttons in the correct sequence (Start, Stop, Reset).
- Impact: If the watch has been dropped, the chronograph mechanism might be misaligned. Professional service is recommended.
