Installation and Setup

Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your tankless water heater. It is highly recommended that installation be performed by a licensed professional.

Unpacking and Inspection:

  • Carefully remove the water heater and all accessories from the packaging.
  • Inspect the unit for any signs of shipping damage. Report any damage to your supplier immediately.
  • Verify all included components are present: Tankless Water Heater x 1, Exhaust Pipe (φ60cm) x 1, Expansion Bolt Kit x 1, Screws (M5*35) x 2, Plastic Feet x 2, Sealing Ring x 3.

Location Requirements:

  • Install indoors only, in a location protected from freezing temperatures.
  • Choose a location with adequate ventilation and access for maintenance.
  • Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the unit's weight (approx. 19.75 lbs).
  • Maintain proper clearances from combustible materials as per local codes.

Mounting the Unit:

  1. Mark the mounting points on the wall according to the unit's dimensions (13.78" W x 21.65" H).
  2. Drill holes and insert the expansion bolts.
  3. Securely mount the water heater to the wall using the provided screws.

Water Connections:

  • Connect the cold water inlet to the 1/2 inch NPT inlet connection on the unit.
  • Connect the hot water outlet to the 1/2 inch NPT outlet connection on the unit.
  • Install shut-off valves on both hot and cold water lines for maintenance.
  • Ensure all connections are watertight.

Gas Connection:

  • Connect the gas supply line to the 1/2 inch NPT gas inlet connection.
  • Use appropriate gas piping and fittings as per local codes.

Operating Instructions

Initial Startup:

  1. Ensure all water and gas connections are secure and leak-free.
  2. Open the cold water supply valve to the unit.
  3. Open a hot water faucet in your home to purge air from the water lines. Close the faucet once water flows steadily.
