4. Setup

  1. Place the Unit: Position the steam cleaner on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Fill the Water Tank:
    • Ensure the unit is unplugged and cool.
    • Unscrew the water tank cap.
    • Using the provided measuring cup and funnel, carefully pour up to 52oz (1.5L) of clean tap water or distilled water into the tank. Do not overfill.
    • Securely replace the water tank cap.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Flip the main power switch to the 'ON' position. The heating indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the unit is heating up.
  2. Wait for Heating: The unit will take approximately 8 minutes to reach its operating temperature of 320°F (160°C). The heating indicator light may turn off or change color once ready, depending on the model.
  3. Initial Steam Release: When starting, the nozzle will initially spray condensed water that accumulated in the hose since the last use. This is normal. Direct the first few bursts of steam into a cloth or sink until continuous steam is produced.
  4. Release Steam: Grip the handle and press the steam trigger to release steam.
  5. Adjust Steam Volume: Use the steam volume control dial on the handle to adjust the steam output from minimum to maximum, depending on the cleaning task and surface.
