Setup
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging.
- Position the Pedal Board: Place the pedal board on a stable, flat surface.
- Unfold Legs (Optional): If an angled setup is desired, gently pull out the foldable legs until they lock into position, creating a 7° angle. For flat use, keep the legs folded.
- Attach Pedals: Apply the provided hook & loop fasteners to the bottom of your effects pedals and the surface of the pedal board. Arrange your pedals as desired, ensuring secure attachment.
- Connect Power Adapter: Plug the power adapter into the "PWR IN" port on the pedal board and then into a suitable wall outlet.
- Power Pedals: Use the included DC power cables to connect your pedals to the isolated power outputs. Ensure correct voltage (9V, 12V, or 18V) and polarity for each pedal. The PD-XL offers 10x 9V 500mA, 1x 12V 500mA, and 1x 18V 500mA outputs.
- Connect Instruments: Connect your guitar or other instrument to the "IN" port and your amplifier or audio interface to the "OUT" port using standard instrument cables.

Troubleshooting
- No Power to Pedals:
- Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the pedal board and a working power outlet.
- Verify the "ON/OFF" switch is in the "ON" position.
- Check that DC power cables are correctly connected to both the pedal board outputs and the pedals, with correct voltage and polarity.
- Test individual pedals with a known working power supply to rule out pedal malfunction.
- Excessive Noise/Hum:
- Confirm all pedals are connected to the isolated power outputs. Non-isolated power can introduce noise.
- Check for faulty instrument cables or power cables.
- Ensure proper grounding of your amplifier and other equipment.
- Move the pedal board away from sources of electromagnetic interference (e.g., power transformers, fluorescent lights).
- Pedals Not Fitting Securely:
- Ensure enough hook & loop fastener is applied to both the pedal and the board.
- Press pedals firmly onto the board to ensure maximum adhesion.
- If fasteners are worn, replace them.
- Legs Difficult to Fold/Unfold:
- Apply gentle, even pressure when folding or unfolding the legs. Avoid forcing them.
- Ensure no debris is obstructing the hinge mechanism.
