Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before installation, fully charge both C660 and C460 cameras using the provided USB cables. A full charge ensures optimal performance and allows the solar panel to maintain battery levels effectively.

2. Smart Hub H500 Setup

  1. Connect the Tapo Smart Hub H500 to power using the provided adapter.
  2. Download the Tapo app from the App Store or Google Play.
  3. Open the Tapo app and follow the on-screen instructions to add the H500 Hub to your account.
  4. Ensure the hub is placed in a central location to provide good Wi-Fi coverage for both cameras. The system supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) for flexible connectivity.

3. Camera Pairing and Installation

  1. In the Tapo app, select "Add Device" and follow the prompts to pair your C660 and C460 cameras with the H500 Hub.

Operating Your Tapo Camera System

Maintenance
