Setup
1. Initial Charging
Before installation, fully charge both C660 and C460 cameras using the provided USB cables. A full charge ensures optimal performance and allows the solar panel to maintain battery levels effectively.
2. Smart Hub H500 Setup
- Connect the Tapo Smart Hub H500 to power using the provided adapter.
- Download the Tapo app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Open the Tapo app and follow the on-screen instructions to add the H500 Hub to your account.
- Ensure the hub is placed in a central location to provide good Wi-Fi coverage for both cameras. The system supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) for flexible connectivity.

3. Camera Pairing and Installation
- In the Tapo app, select "Add Device" and follow the prompts to pair your C660 and C460 cameras with the H500 Hub.
- Choose an outdoor location for each camera that provides a clear view of the area you wish to monitor.
- Mount the solar panel in a location that receives direct sunlight for several hours daily to ensure continuous charging.
- Attach the camera to its mounting bracket and connect it to the solar panel. Adjust the camera angle for optimal coverage.

Operating Your Tapo Camera System
Live View and Playback
Access real-time video feeds from your cameras through the Tapo app. The app also allows you to review recorded footage, with options for detailed playback across multiple cameras.

Maintenance
- Solar Panel Cleaning: Periodically clean the surface of the solar panels with a soft, damp cloth to ensure maximum sunlight absorption and efficient charging.
