3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Main Unit Installation (Front & Cabin Cameras)

1. Prepare the Windshield: Clean the area on your windshield where you intend to mount the dash cam. Ensure it is free of dust and grease.
2. Apply Transparent Sticker: Stick a transparent card sticker onto the cleaned area of the windshield. This helps protect your windshield and allows for easier removal.
3. Attach Dash Cam: Remove the protective film from the dash cam's adhesive mount. Firmly press the main dash cam unit onto the transparent sticker on your windshield. Ensure the front camera has a clear view of the road and the cabin camera is positioned to monitor the vehicle's interior.
4. Connect Power: Connect the car charger connection cable to the dash cam's power input. Plug the car charger into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
5. Route Cable: Carefully hide the power cable along the interior trim of your car (e.g., along the headliner, A-pillar, and dashboard) to keep it tidy and out of the way. Use the provided cable clips if necessary.

2. Route Rear Camera Cable: Route the rear camera cable along the top of the windshield, down the A-pillar, along the door sills, and then to the rear of the vehicle. Tuck the cable neatly under the trim.
3. Mount Rear Camera: Clean the desired mounting location on your rear windshield. Apply a transparent card sticker, then attach the rear camera using its adhesive mount. Ensure it has a clear view of the road behind your vehicle.
4. Secure Excess Cable: Tidy up any redundant cable and secure it with cable clips or tuck it into the vehicle's interior trim.

4.1 Power On/Off

• The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on.
• It will automatically power off when the ignition is turned off.
• To manually power on/off, press and hold the power button on the dash cam.
