Installation

  4. Install Outlet: Carefully push the wired smart outlet into the wall box. Secure it with screws. Attach the decorative cover plate.
  5. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

App Pairing

  1. Reset Device: Hold the ON/OFF button on the smart outlet for 7-10 seconds until the indicator light rapidly blinks. This indicates it's in pairing mode.
  2. Download App: Download the "MOES" or "Smart Life" app from your smartphone's app store.
  3. Add Device: Open the app, register or log in. Tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon. The app should automatically discover the new device. If not, select "Electrical" then "Socket (Wi-Fi)".
  4. Connect to Wi-Fi: Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network credentials. The app will then pair with the device.
  5. Complete Setup: Once successfully added, you can rename the device and assign it to a room.

The MOES/Smart Life app allows for individual control of all outputs: the two AC sockets, the USB-A port, and the Type-C port. Simply tap the corresponding switch icon in the app to turn each output on or off remotely.

Troubleshooting

USB and Type-C ports not fast charging.If both USB and Type-C ports are used simultaneously, the maximum total output power is 10W, and fast charging is not supported under this condition.
