4. Setup and Installation
- Prepare the Surface: Ensure the mounting surface is smooth, flat, and non-porous. Clean the surface thoroughly to remove any dust, dirt, or moisture. A clean surface is crucial for optimal suction.
- Attach the Suction Cup: Place the suction cup firmly against the prepared surface. Press the pump repeatedly until the safety warning line on the pump disappears. This indicates a strong vacuum seal.
- Monitor Suction Status: The vacuum suction cup has a warning line. If this line becomes exposed during use, press the pump again to enhance the suction. It is recommended to check the suction status every 4 hours, especially during extended use or in changing environmental conditions.
- Attach the Magic Arm: Screw the magic arm onto one of the 1/4" or 3/8" screw interfaces on the suction cup base. Tighten the quick lock knob on the magic arm to secure its position.
- Mount Your Device: Attach your camera (DSLR, action camera), phone (using the phone holder), or other accessories to the magic arm's 1/4" screw + ARRI telescopic positioning pin. Adjust the angle using the double ball head design and secure it with the adjustment latch.

5. Operating Instructions
- Adjusting Angle: The magic arm features a double ball head design, allowing for 360° rotational adjustment. Loosen the central adjustment latch to reposition your camera, then tighten it firmly to lock the desired angle.
- Quick Release: To remove the suction cup, gently pinch the two sides of the quick release grip. This will break the vacuum seal, allowing for easy removal. Always remove any attached equipment before releasing the suction cup to prevent damage.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the rubber suction cup and mounting surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion. Use a soft, damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: When not in use, always place the provided dust cover over the suction cup. This protects the rubber from dust and debris, maintaining its suction power for future use.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the suction cup for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Ensure all screws and moving parts of the magic arm are secure.
7. Troubleshooting
- Suction Not Holding:
- Ensure the mounting surface is perfectly clean, smooth, and non-porous.
- Check if the warning line on the pump is exposed. If so, pump until it disappears.
- Verify the rubber suction cup is clean and free from damage or debris.
- Device Not Stable on Magic Arm:
- Ensure the quick lock knob on the magic arm is fully tightened.
- Check that your camera or accessory is securely screwed onto the 1/4" or 3/8" interface.
- Confirm that the ARRI positioning pins (if used) are correctly engaged.
