Preheating for Optimal Non-Stick Performance

For best non-stick performance, proper preheating is crucial. Heat the pan over low to medium heat for the recommended duration before adding oil or butter and food.

  • 20cm Frying Pan: 40 seconds to 1 minute (medium heat)
  • 26cm Frying Pan: 1 to 1.5 minutes (medium heat)
  • Egg Pan: 40 seconds to 1 minute (medium heat)

Adjust preheating time based on pan size. Always use low to medium heat for cooking; high heat is not recommended due to the excellent thermal conductivity of the ceramic coating.

Cooking Recommendations

The ceramic coating with diamond particles ensures excellent heat distribution, allowing for efficient cooking at lower temperatures. Use low to medium heat for most cooking tasks. Avoid using metal utensils to prevent scratching the non-stick surface; silicone, wood, or plastic utensils are recommended.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning Instructions

To maintain the non-stick properties and longevity of your cookware, follow these cleaning guidelines:

  • Hand Washing: Hand washing with a neutral detergent is recommended. Wash thoroughly to remove all food residue, as invisible residue can lead to sticking over time. After washing, wipe dry immediately with a cloth; do not air dry.
  • Dishwasher Use: The main body of the cookware is dishwasher safe. However, the glass lid and removable handle are not suitable for dishwasher use and should be hand washed.
  • Stubborn Stains: If food residue becomes stubborn, soak the pan in lukewarm water to loosen it. For persistent sticking issues, a melamine sponge can be used carefully. Excessive use of abrasive sponges may affect the coating.

The removable handle allows for compact, stackable storage, saving space in your kitchen. Use the included protector sheets between stacked pans to prevent scratches.

Troubleshooting

Food Sticking to the Pan

If food begins to stick, it is often due to insufficient preheating or accumulated invisible food residue. Ensure you preheat the pan properly as described in the "Operating Instructions" section. Regularly clean the pan thoroughly with neutral detergent to prevent residue buildup. If sticking persists, a melamine sponge can help remove accumulated residue.

Handle Cannot Be Removed

This issue typically occurs if the handle was incorrectly attached, especially with the egg pan. Refer to the "Important Note for Egg Pan Handle Attachment" in the Setup section to ensure correct attachment. If the handle is stuck, gently try to re-engage the locking mechanism while ensuring it's aligned correctly.
