5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.

5.3. Scanning Procedure

  1. Place the stud finder flat against the wall where you wish to scan.
  2. Select the appropriate detection mode (e.g., Wood Deep, Wood Exact, Metal, AC Wire).
  3. Slowly slide the device horizontally across the surface. The slower the movement speed, the better the detection effect.
  4. Observe the LCD display for visual cues (percentage, analog bars, center/edge indicators) and listen for audible alerts.
  5. Mark the detected locations as indicated by the device.

5.4. Mute Function

To silence the continuous humming sound during operation, which can sometimes interfere with judgment, long-press the two orange buttons located below the display simultaneously. This allows for more focused object location.
