  • Thermostat Placement: Ensure the thermostat or control unit is not covered by the blanket or other items during use to prevent overheating and ensure proper function.
  • Power Off: Always turn off the power and unplug the blanket when leaving the room or when not in use.
  • Certification: This heated blanket is ETL certified, ensuring high standards of performance and safety, including overheat protection and short-circuit protection.

Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heated blanket and controller from its packaging.
  2. Inspect: Check the blanket, power cord, and controller for any visible damage. Do not use if any damage is found.
  3. Connect Controller: Locate the connector on the blanket and the corresponding plug on the controller cord. Align the arrows on both parts and firmly push the plug into the connector until it clicks securely into place.
  4. Position Blanket: Spread the blanket evenly on your bed or desired surface, ensuring it is not bunched or folded.
  5. Plug In: Insert the power plug into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Press the "ON/OFF" button on the controller to turn on the blanket. The display will illuminate.
  2. Adjust Heat Level: Use the "+" and "-" buttons under "HEAT" to select your desired heat level from 1 to 10. Level 1 is the lowest, and Level 10 is the highest (up to 113℉).
  3. Set Timer: Press the "TIME" button, then use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired operating time from 1 to 12 hours. The blanket will automatically shut off after the set time or after 8 hours if no timer is set.
  4. Pre-heating: For optimal comfort, it is recommended to turn on the blanket 15-30 minutes before use to pre-heat your bed.
  5. Power Off: To turn off the blanket manually, press the "ON/OFF" button. Unplug the blanket from the wall outlet when not in use.

Care and Maintenance

Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your heated blanket.

Washing Instructions:

  1. Disconnect: Always remove the heating controller and unplug the power cord before washing.
  2. Machine Wash: Wash the blanket either by machine or hand in water below 30℃ (86℉). Use a delicate or gentle cycle in the washing machine.
  3. Detergent: Use a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals.
  4. Rinse: Rinse thoroughly to remove all detergent.

Drying Instructions:

  1. No Commercial Dryers: Do not use commercial dryers or dryers at a local laundromat, as they can get too hot and damage the wiring of the heated product.
  2. Preheat Dryer: Preheat your home dryer on the "low" temperature setting for 2 minutes.
  3. Tumble Dry: Place the blanket into the dryer and tumble dry for 10 minutes at a low temperature.
  4. Remove Damp: Remove the blanket while it is still damp and gently stretch it to its original size.
  5. Air Dry: Drape the heated product over a clothesline or a shower rod. DO NOT use clothespins, as they can damage the internal wiring.
  6. Completely Dry: The heated product must be COMPLETELY dry before reconnecting the power plug or control plug.
