Setup

1. Charging the Earbuds and Case

Before first use, fully charge both the earbuds and the charging case.

1. Place the earbuds into the charging case. Ensure they are correctly seated in their magnetic slots.
2. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the case and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included).
3. The LED digital display on the case will show the battery percentage of the case and individual earbud charging status. The numbers will flash during charging and remain solid when fully charged.
4. A full charge for the case takes approximately 1.5 hours. Earbuds provide up to 8 hours of playback per charge, and the case can recharge them multiple times for a total of up to 60 hours of playtime.

2. Pairing with Your Device

The Matast C16 earbuds feature one-step pairing for convenience.

1. Initial Pairing:
   • Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically power on and enter pairing mode.
   • On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth.
   • Search for "C16" in the list of available Bluetooth devices and select it to connect.
   • Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the earbuds' LED indicators will turn off.
2. Automatic Reconnection: After the initial pairing, the earbuds will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when you open the charging case.
3. Mono Mode: You can use either earbud independently. Simply take one earbud out of the case, and it will automatically connect. The other earbud can remain in the case or be used later.

3. Wearing the Earbuds

For optimal sound quality and comfort, ensure a proper fit.

1. Choose the correct size of eartips (S, M, L) that best fit your ears.
2. Place the ear hook over your ear.
3. Gently insert the earbud into your ear canal.
4. Rotate the earbud slightly to find a comfortable and secure position.

Touch Controls

The Matast C16 earbuds feature intuitive touch controls on both the left (L) and right (R) earbuds. The functions are as follows:

Dual-Use Mode

The earbuds support both binaural (stereo) and mono modes:

• Binaural Mode: Use both earbuds for immersive stereo sound. This is the default mode when both earbuds are taken out of the case.
• Mono Mode: Use a single earbud independently. This is useful for awareness of your surroundings or sharing audio. Simply take one earbud out of the case, and it will function as a standalone unit.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your earbuds.

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the earbuds, eartips, and charging contacts with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Water Exposure: While the earbuds are IP7 waterproof, avoid prolonged submersion in water. Ensure they are dry before placing them back in the charging case to prevent damage to the charging contacts.
• Storage: When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them from dust and damage. Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Matast C16 Wireless Earbuds, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Earbuds not pairing:
  • Ensure both earbuds are fully charged.
  • Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, then open it again to re-initiate pairing mode.
  • Turn off and on your device's Bluetooth.
  • Forget "C16" from your device's Bluetooth list and attempt to pair again.
• Only one earbud working:
  • Ensure both earbuds are charged.
  • Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, then open it again. This should reset the connection between them.
  • Check if you are accidentally in mono mode.
• Low volume or poor sound quality:
  • Adjust the volume on both your device and using the earbud touch controls.
  • Ensure the eartips provide a secure seal in your ear canal. Try different sizes.

• Charging case not charging:
