General Operation Steps:
- Ensure the milk jug is clean and dry.
- Insert the appropriate whisk into the bottom of the milk jug. Use the frothing whisk for foam, and the heating whisk for warming only.
- Pour fresh, cold milk into the jug. Observe the MAX and MIN fill lines inside the jug. Do not exceed the MAX frothing line (8.45oz/250ml) for frothing, or the MAX heating line (16.91oz/500ml) for warming. Always fill at least to the MIN line (5.07oz/150ml).
- Place the lid on the milk jug.
- Place the milk jug onto the base unit.
- Rotate the control knob to select your desired mode. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
- Press the center button on the knob to start the operation. The frother will begin working.
- Once the process is complete, the frother will automatically shut off, and the indicator light will turn off.
- Carefully remove the milk jug from the base. Pour the frothed or warmed milk into your beverage.
Mode Selection Guide:
- Hot Thick Milk Foam (Red Light): Use the frothing whisk. Ideal for cappuccinos.
- Hot Thin Milk Foam (Green Light): Use the frothing whisk. Suitable for lattes and macchiatos.
- Heat Milk (Purple Light): Use the heating whisk. For warming milk without foam, such as for hot chocolate.
- Cold Milk Foam (Blue Light): Use the frothing whisk. Perfect for iced coffee or cold beverages.

6. Capacity Guidelines
Adhering to the fill lines is crucial for proper operation and to prevent overflow.

Image: A transparent view of the milk jug indicating the maximum fill level for warming (16.9oz/500ml), maximum fill level for frothing (8.45oz/250ml), and minimum fill level for both warming and frothing (5.07oz/150ml).
- Maximum for Warming: 16.91 oz (500 ml). Do not exceed this line when only heating milk.
- Maximum for Frothing: 8.45 oz (250 ml). Do not exceed this line when frothing milk, as milk expands significantly.
- Minimum for All Operations: 5.07 oz (150 ml). Always ensure milk is at least at this level.
7. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your frother.

Image: Two panels illustrating cleaning. One shows the detachable milk jug placed in a dishwasher. The other shows the jug being rinsed under running water in a sink. A note advises to remove the whisk before dishwashing.
- Unplug: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Cool Down: Allow the frother to cool completely before handling.
- Remove Whisk: Detach the whisk from the milk jug.
- Clean Milk Jug: The detachable stainless steel milk jug is dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash it by hand with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Clean Whisk: Rinse the whisk attachments under running water. Use a small brush if necessary to remove any milk residue.
- Clean Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
- Storage: Store the frother in a clean, dry place. The whisks can be stored in the designated compartment under the base unit.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your frother, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Frother does not start. | Not plugged in; power outage; jug not properly seated. | Check power connection; ensure jug is correctly placed on the base. |
| Milk does not froth or froths poorly. | Incorrect whisk used; milk level too high/low; milk not fresh; type of milk. | Ensure frothing whisk is used; check milk levels (between MIN and MAX frothing lines); use fresh, cold milk; some milk types (e.g., skim, oat) froth better than others. |
| Milk overflows. | Milk level exceeded MAX frothing line. | Always ensure milk is below the MAX frothing line (8.45oz/250ml) when frothing. |
| Milk is not warm enough. | Heating whisk not used; incorrect mode selected. | Ensure heating whisk is used for warming only; select the "Heat Milk" mode (Purple Light). |
| Burning smell or milk sticking to bottom. | Milk residue from previous use; insufficient milk. | Clean the jug thoroughly after each use; ensure milk is at least at the MIN line (5.07oz/150ml). |
