1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the Moman H4C Motorcycle Helmet Headset with an integrated 1080P camera. The H4C is designed to enhance your riding experience by combining communication, entertainment, and video recording capabilities. It features a 1080P HD camera with a 120° wide-angle lens, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, HiFi stereo sound, AI voice assistant, and IPX6 waterproof rating.

Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper operation and to maximize its performance and longevity.

4. Setup

4.1 Mounting the Headset

The Moman H4C can be mounted using either the clip-on bracket or the adhesive bracket, depending on your helmet type and preference.

  1. Choose Mounting Location: Select a flat area on the left side of your helmet where the headset will not obstruct your vision or movement.
  2. Install Speakers: Place the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets. Ensure they are positioned directly over your ears for optimal sound quality. Route the speaker wires neatly under the helmet lining.
  3. Install Microphone: Attach the microphone to the inside of the helmet, near your mouth. For full-face helmets, use the boom microphone. For open-face helmets, use the soft-wire microphone.
  4. Attach Bracket:
    • Clip-on Bracket: Slide the bracket between the helmet shell and the inner padding. Tighten the screws with the provided tool to secure it.
    • Adhesive Bracket: Clean the chosen area on the helmet surface thoroughly. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive pad and firmly press the bracket onto the helmet for at least 30 seconds. Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to cure before use.
  5. Attach Headset Unit: Slide the Moman H4C unit onto the installed bracket until it clicks into place. Connect the speaker and microphone cables to the corresponding ports on the headset.

4.2 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the Moman H4C. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging interface on the headset and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.

4.3 Inserting the TF-Card

The Moman H4C supports TF-cards up to 256GB. A 32GB TF-card is typically included.

  1. Locate the TF card slot on the side of the headset unit.
  2. Gently insert the TF card into the slot with the contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, push the card in slightly until it springs out.

The Moman H4C can connect to two smartphones simultaneously.

  1. Ensure the headset is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the On/Off/Play/Pause/Answer Key for about 7 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and search for "Moman H4C". Select it to connect.
  4. Once connected, the indicator light will flash blue slowly. You will hear a "Connected" prompt.
  5. To connect a second phone, repeat steps 2-4. The headset will automatically prioritize audio from the active device.

5.7 WiFi Function and App Control

The Moman H4C has a built-in WiFi hotspot for easy access to recorded footage via the "RoadCam" app.

  1. Download App: Download the "RoadCam" app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  2. Activate WiFi: Press and hold the Camera/WiFi Key for 3 seconds to activate the WiFi hotspot on the H4C. The WiFi indicator light will flash.
  3. Connect to WiFi: On your smartphone, go to WiFi settings and connect to the H4C's WiFi network (e.g., "Moman_H4C_XXXX").
  4. Access Footage: Open the "RoadCam" app. You can now view live camera feed, browse recorded videos and photos, and download them to your phone.
  5. Deactivate WiFi: Press and hold the Camera/WiFi Key again for 3 seconds to turn off the WiFi hotspot.
