  1. Prepare the Windshield: Clean the area on your windshield where you intend to mount the dash cam. Ensure it is free of dust and grease.
  2. Apply Electrostatic Sticker: Adhere the electrostatic sticker to the cleaned area of the windshield. This helps in easy removal and re-positioning without leaving residue.
  3. Mount the Dash Cam: Attach the dash cam to the electrostatic sticker using the heat-resistant adhesive. Ensure the lens has a clear view of the road and is not obstructed by the rearview mirror or wipers.
  4. Connect Power: Connect the power cable to the dash cam and route it along the edge of the windshield and dashboard, tucking it into the trim using the crowbar. Plug the other end into the car charger and then into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
  5. Install Rear Camera (Optional): If using a rear camera, connect it to the main unit and route its cable to the rear windshield. Mount the rear camera ensuring a clear view.

  7. Connect to 70mai App: Download the 70mai App from your smartphone's app store. Connect to the dash cam's Wi-Fi hotspot (details in Operating Instructions) to access live view, settings, and recorded videos.

For 24-hour parking surveillance, the 70mai UP03 Type-C Hardwire Kit (sold separately, ASIN: B0C36J71VG) is required for continuous power supply when the vehicle is off.

5. Key Features Explained

5.1 Dual 4K Front + 1080P Rear Recording

The A800SE captures crystal-clear 4K (3840x2160) video from the front camera with a 140° field of view, ensuring sharp details like license plates. The 1080P rear camera provides additional coverage, recording either the interior or the rear view of your vehicle, crucial for comprehensive incident recording.

5.2 Super Night Vision with F1.55 Aperture & HDR

Equipped with an F1.55 large aperture lens and HDR technology for both front and rear cameras, the A800SE excels in low-light conditions. It processes details 16 times better than traditional cameras, balancing light and shadows to capture clear images at night, enhancing overall driving safety.

5.3 Extended Emergency Recording

The dash cam provides an extended emergency video pre-recording solution. It automatically records 10 seconds to 3 minutes before impact and 30 seconds after, capturing the entire incident timeline up to 210 seconds. These critical videos are saved in a special, protected folder to prevent overwriting.

5.4 24-Hour Parking Surveillance & G-Sensor

When paired with the 70mai UP03 Type-C Hardwire Kit (sold separately), the G-sensor detects sudden shakes or collisions while parked, automatically initiating recording. The dash cam also supports time-lapse mode for 24-hour surveillance, reducing storage space by recording at 1/30th of the normal frame rate.

5.5 Loop Recording & Ample Memory

The reliable loop recording function ensures continuous recording by automatically overwriting the oldest files when the memory card is full. This guarantees uninterrupted recording without manual deletion. The A800SE comes standard with a 128GB microSD card and supports cards up to 512GB (U3 or higher).

5.6 Integrated GPS & ADAS

Equipped with a 5-module satellite positioning system (GPS + BDS + Galileo + GLONASS + QZSS), the dash cam provides precise global signal coverage for accurate location tracking. Driving routes, speed, latitude, and longitude can be monitored in real-time via the app. ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) actively monitors risks, offering warnings for lane departure, front vehicle collision, pedestrian collision, and cyclist collision, enhancing driving safety.
